Unconstitutional actions are now endorsed.
Congratulations upper house!
Congratulations lower house!

In this life, sometimes play outside the rule book.

Never ever try to be perfect.
Fubara actions have been unconstitutional and u never condemned them.

*NDIGBO THIS FIGHT IS NOT YOUR FIGHT!*

The country is boiling again.

Emotions are high once again.

But Igbos must be very circumspect this time.

Nigeria is a country with no soul nor spirit.

It was an artifical construction.

We must tread with caution.

1966.

The crisis was in Yorubaland.

Between Awolowo and Ladoke Akintola, the Premier of Western Region.

The press called it Wild Wild West

Then "Operation Wetie" started.

Then the constitutional crisis.

Awolowo was thrown into Enugu prison by Balewa.

Then the state of emergency by the government of Balewa.

There was nationwide anger and frustration.

Then a group of military officers intervened to save the situation in 1966.

It was termed "Igbo coup".

The source of the crisis was forgotten.

Operation Wetie was forgotten.

Igbos became the devils that didn't want Nigeria to work.

Igbos became scapegoated for a crisis that started from Yorubaland.

Then the killing of Igbos started nationwide.

The pogrom was bloody.

No ethnic group spoke for the Igbos.

Ojukwu retreated to the East.

Igbos retreated to the East.

Ojukwu released Awolowo who was imprisoned by the Balewa government.

Awolowo returned to Yorubaland and teamed up with the rest to the war efforts against Igbos.

He became friends with those who cast him into prison at the expense of Igbos.

At the end of both the progrom and civil war approximately 5 million Igbo lives were wasted.

Because of a crisis they knew nothing about.

and for involving in a fight that wasn't theirs.

I can see a pattern emerge here once again.

The Corper who rightly called EmiloRogue a terrible person is not Igbo.

But Igbos una blood too dey hot.

You want to save Nigeria again.

Stay in your region and allow Nigerians cancel themselves.

Don't be a hero.

Don't waste your lives.

Don't draw unnecessary war on Igbo land.

Let the saviours emerge from Yorubaland.

Let the deliverers rise from the North.

The Igbos must remain calm as spectators.

Nigeria is a country without soul or spirit.

It only has a body clothed in evil.

You can see the bile and poison that constantly emerge from their hearts and mouths in anything that involves Igbos.

Their target is not Rivers.

They are baying for Igbo blood once again.

Don't try to save Nigeria.

The country was set up for the destruction of its inhabitants.

Don't allow vultures like Bayo Onanuga and imbeciles like Tope Fasua spit over your graves once again.

1966 must not be re-enacted in Igboland, their nemesis.

I just say make I a piece of history for your guidance.

Nigeria can only make progress in darkness.

Nigeria is irredeemable.
The Igbos narrowly escaped being slaughtered in the aftermath of the June 12, elections, largely due to the wisdom displayed by Prof. Humphrey Nwosu in refusing to play the hero in officially and duely announcing Abiola as the winner of the election as desired by the cunning Yoruba. If he had done that, the Yoruba would have receded to reap the benefits then and the igbos would have incurred the angst of the Fulani north for a trigger to our massacre. Sure, it almost happened.
Now another scenario beckons.
*Do not die in their war!*

Now that the National Assembly hurdle is out of the way. What happens after 6 months? I think the contenders should just divide the Governance structure in Rivers by 50:50 or by any other percentage that may be agreed by the parties. Commissioners, Local governments and other appointments. This is not a fight between just Wike and Fubara. Wike has a team of on the ground soldiers in his political family across all local governments that fought/worked for the emergence of Fubara as a part of the family. Promises, negotiations and agreements were reached with some of them to step down and get their buy in to the candidacy of Fubara. That is how politics is played. There is no Father Christmas in Politics. Fubara can’t just come and push all of them away. He has to negotiate, compromise to keep power at least until 2027. He does not have the number to fight!

Excellent post about the reality!

This is the reason why we have online discussion forum like Nairaland so people can learn and understand how things work which helps them navigate their system but they think real life is on their phone keyboard. What you refuse to learn at the age of 20, you will still learn by 40 else you learn at 60. You can create your own rules in your own bedroom but the moment you step out, your stubbornness is for your pocket. You are dealing with the system and it's not on your personal !

Some things that are going for PBAT are: he's bold, does his politics very well, smart (he's aware that if he had subjected it to debate before proclamation politics will derail it. The same strategy he used to remove fuel subsidy and subsidy on fx). So he goes by consulting the various constituencies, get their and assurance, then be certain that everything will sail through.

His haters in their privacy ire his smart thinking and political sagacity. After serving as president many will like to use his brain. OBJ knows that he's smart and way ahead of him in political sagacity. OBJ uses brute force. That's all.

As it stands, our government has just one arm. cos the other two arms are in the pocket of the executive

Have you ever heard of political instability in China? We need to learn from them for our country to make any tangible progress. Not this situation of everybody wanting his own clan at the top and fighting needlessly to bring down the government in power. That is not how the Nation makes progress. What we practise in Africa is Dem-All-Crazy and nobody for the Nation. We shoud learn from China how to put the Nation first….it’s not about how your kinsman can get to the top. …..That’s why they call us Sh!t-hole country! cool cool

Wasn't expecting anything different. Separation of power doesn't exit in Nigeria.

The legislative arm is just an extension of the executive. The only time the legislatures would counter the executive is during budget appropriation - constituency projects
It currently does not esist in America!

Ojukwu did not release Awolowo. To start with Awolowonwas a federal prisoner. Ojukwu had no power to release him. If you had any ounce of intelligence, that would have triggered an alert that what I am writing here is not possible.

Awo was Pardoned and released by Gowon

Below is the official gazette.

As for the rest lets just say the evidence of the lie about Ojukwu lie is typical of the Ibo propaganda. Who is the chief er who led Fubara astray? A certain UgonChinyere from IMO. Did you hear his Nay voice When the vote was called in the house?

The crisis was indeed in Yoruba land but who staged the coup and then just as you are doing now, when it backfires you say nothing to do with us! Who are the majority of people encouraging Fubara and his illegality Obidients and ugochinyere now you say e no concern you?

Who were the people that hijacked endears riot and started looting and burning?

You always instigate or add fuel to crises. When it backfires in you as it usually does since you don’t use your brains, you then say nothing to do with us leave us alone.

It’s your MO and we know!
