I bought mine in 2014 for 17k. I still it like yesterday. Then in 2016 I bought the big 2.5 Elepaq Generator for 60k. Today that Elepaq Generator is close to 400k.
Are both still working?

Bought the first one in 2013 for 13k and the second one in 2019 for 23k.

Both are still in perfect condition as I later got an inverter.
145k is really crazy.

My big gen(2.2) was bought for 40k in 2011.
Both the first and 2nd one are still working?
And the Big Gen too?

Buhari and T-pain had done more bad to this country than Boko Haram and bandïts.

Unbelievable!!!

You would think the minimum wage and standard of living of average Nigerians would keep up with such shocking price hikes.

Tell me how poverty rate won't keep increasing along with crime.

Bought mine N12k in 2010 as a student living in off campus. Na we be big guys then wey get this kind of gen. This life is really vanity i swear.

Even the biggest boys can't boldly and casually cough out 145k for this noisy thing today.

Yet the stewpeed ers of Emilokan will stupidly defend their stupidity. Things are hard is no exaggeration. PBAT govt has dealt so much blow to Nigerians and their survival.

Guess what! No employer promotes their staff and increase salaries anymore. Most employees (private organizations) have remained in one position now for more than 5years and without salary increment despite the high level of inflation this clueless govt has forced down our throats

if your employer under pay you, leave, most Nigerians workers wont because they are the ones benefitting from employer-employee relationship.

This means by 2030 when Shettima will ascend the throne... The Gen will hit 1.4m and you will wish you bought it at 145k today. My people, if you have capital, invest in I my neighbor today and smile to the bank after 10yrs. Nigeria don't have any plan for electricity and INEC server is not willing to help you in any way. Invest wisely today. This is Zoogeiria

I bought this gen 9700 in 2009. And yet we were complaining that things were expensive.
Annoying thing is while inflation has increased by over 10,000%, wages remain flat

Giving someone 10k in 2009 was good money, it's still the same today. This shows people are poorer now than in 2009.

Lol... How many Nigerians have that luxury of leaving underpaying jobs?!!

How many are even employed, for starters?!!

How many jobs are available for the teeming employable youths today?!!

I don't know what part of the nation your assertion is coming from, but the truth is... Most can't leave solely because there isn't a readily available alternative.

Even your President is struggling to pay Federal workers the paltry minimum wage of 70k.

I bought my own at the rate of 14,000 naira in 2010 in Rumuokoro.
All thanks to Tinubu.
His second tenure, the generator will be around 300,000 naira.

I tell you... Complain complain... Leave kwanu no way. I was heading a department with poor salary structure... My subordinate keep pressuring me to talk to oga for increment. Oga told them, he cannot at the moment but they keep momurinrin... I told them, oga has taken a position, if it's not ok by you leave... They turn the fight against me... I was like what kind of hopeless people are these?
