I thought as much too considering the need to win the heart of the attorney general of the state to get the impeachment done.

With this shocking emergency rule in the state, Governor Fubara is hereby automatically suspended! Meanwhile, Jagaban, while declaring the emergency status of the state categorically states that the judiciary is not affected. That means the impeachment proceedings has to continue since the House has already given notice of impeachment 2 days ago.

There is enough time to hear the impeachment case and there will be no single interference or interference based on incumbency on the part of Fubara.

This is nothing but a declaration of war against Ijaws! Tinubu has gone too far and has to be called to order or this mad man will torpedo the fragile democracy we have been managing since 1999.

Tinubu blackmailed Jonathan and kept attacking the innocent man, while ensuring he had no peace. He teamed up with others to send the only Ijaw president in history packing! The only opportunity for Ijaws to rule Nigeria, which even came to them miraculously.

Again, in Rivers state, the Igboid parts have been ruling back-to-back since 1999, a total of 23 years! But now that an Ijaw man became governor, this same Tinubu again allowed Wike, or even encouraged him to use federal might to keep attacking & humiliating this man. What is Fubara's crime? He resisted Wike and refused to be his boy to protect Rivers state, but again, Tinubu teamed up with Wike in humiliating the ijaw nation!

What makes this even more painful is that the entire Ijaws backed Fubara. INC president did a press conference telling Tinubu to allow Fubara do his work. Several Ijaw rulers including Asari Dokubo complained bitterly. Yet Wike called them minority of the least minorities! Wike said Fubara will be chased away and there is nothing Ijaws can do about it. We all thought he was bluffing but today, they've carried it out!

If Ijaws do not fight back & fight hard to make sure they regret this action, there own is finished!

Luckily for them, they have favorable environment to retaliate. History has been made & how ijaws retaliate will position them as a force or relegate them as the minority of minorities Wike called them.
