These guys are hell bent on throwing Rivers state into chaos. All these dramas are not in the interest of the Rivers people but just few selfish politicians settling political scores.

Shame on Wike, Fubara, Martin Amaewhule all of the politicians involved in playing ludo with the lives of millions of Rivers people over political scores

They will hold on to the words of the several Supreme Court Justices who already indicted Fubara.

If impeached, will Fubara be able to challenge it successfully in court since the Supreme Court frowned at his actions?

Waste of precious time

Unfortunately for the Rivers state people, they dont currently have any elected representatives in the state

Those currently representing them, the state assembly, LG and the governor are rogues

For their information, without the of the state's attorney general, the governor cannot be impeached.

Worst comes to worst, there will be serious crisis.

The people can now see that these people are only there for their personal interest.

Again, why is it easy to impeach a Governor/Deputy. But difficult to recall of the house of assembly?

The Nigeria Law is for the reach/Powerful and connected.

I don't This impeachment Journey by Wike and his co travellers.Wike doesn't have forgiven spirit and he can't last long as a godfather in politics.I am surprised he is serving under the govt of the most successful
godfather in our political history and he hasn't learnt this trait from him.Wike should put his emotions under control. This impeachment is simply unnecessary. He has successfully demystify the governor and the governor is going to be a lame duck till 2027.

A governor that has no control at all over the house of assembly,is a lame duck governor. Fubara is defeated already and I don't see the need for this impeachment to over heat the polity.I am from Edo State and this is one of the problem I have with my brothers from core Niger Delta states, they drink ogogoro and start doing gra gra.I love wikes dedication to service of the nation, but on this his impeachment journey,he should calm down, everything nor be by gra gra.You don show fubara say u get level am,wetin u want again?

The SC gave these idiots the leeway in collaboration with the duncehead leadership in Nigeria today. Well, when the chips are down, history will vindicate who was right or wrong.

Good.

He deserves to be impeached for at the minimum burning down the house of Assembly and for trying to remove the duly elected of the house.
Those are crimes that should never be allowed to .

Labour Party Opposes Move To Strike Out Suit Over Defection, As 27 Rivers Assembly Cites Supreme Court Judgment

The Federal High Court in Port Harcourt has adjourned the suit filed by the Labour Party against the Rivers State House of Assembly (RSHA) and 30 others to Monday, March 17, 2025, for the hearing of a motion seeking to strike out the case.

"At the resumed hearing of Suit No: FHC/PH/25/2024 on March 11, 2025, K.C.O. Njemanze, SAN, counsel for the Rivers State House of Assembly, informed the court of a motion filed on March 10, 2025, urging the court to strike out the suit in light of the Supreme Court’s ruling on February 28, 2025. Njemanze argued that the apex court had already determined all issues raised in the case and that, under Section 287(1) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended), the Federal High Court was bound to comply with the Supreme Court’s decision."

"However, Clifford N Chuku Esq., counsel for the Labour Party, opposed the motion, stating that he had filed a reply that morning on points of law to contest the motion to strike out the case. He asserted that the facts surrounding the Supreme Court’s ruling were distinguishable from the subject of the current suit, which centers on the defection of 27 lawmakers from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Chuku further emphasized that the Federal High Court, under Section 272(3) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended), has exclusive jurisdiction to determine issues of defection involving House of Assembly .

While Njemanze, SAN, urged the court to first hear the motion to strike out the suit, Clifford N Chuku Esq., argued that, in the interest of fair hearing, all pending matters should be taken together before judgment is delivered. He contended that hearing the motion separately could lead to a denial of justice."

"In a bench ruling, Justice E.A. Obile of the Federal High Court (Court 2), Port Harcourt Judicial Division, decided that the court would first hear the motion on notice before considering the substantive case. Consequently, upon agreement of both parties, the matter was adjourned to Monday, March 17, 2025, at 2:00 PM for the hearing of the motion."

Time to execute the main plan

They used to say that what an elder can see while sitting down a child will never see even if he climbs the tallest tree

But in this case what the child (Ameachi) saw while sitting in the rivers state government house about WIKE, the elder (GEJ ) didn't see it while he was sitting in aso rock with all the federal intelligence agencies surrounding him

Whatever is going on in rivers state today should be blamed on former president GEJ who saved the evil snake when others wanted to cut off its head

A very long week in Rivers state. I hope they know what they're doing.

It may end in chaos. Going for impeachment immediately after court pronouncements seems desperate and vengeful.
Dem for allow everywhere to calm and then take actions later.
