I understand what he's trying to do to make sure Americans only patronize made in American goods and services but you cannot isolate yourself from the world. Trade does not work that way. Trade works with partnership agreements.

There is a reason why it is cheaper to produce laptops, cars and other gadgets in China or Asia. Even clothes are made in Thailand, Indonesia and India because it is cheaper there. Can Americans afford their own products? E get why Apple moved production to China. We shall see.

And this is why China keeps winning US . Cheap labour, no stringent environmental laws and strategic devaluation of the china yuan. Also low tariffs that enables them to flood countries with all kinds of products killing off local industries.This is also why Nigeria is in the mess it is .
