I don't have anything against Jesus as a fictional character just like I don't have any against voldermont. They are just part of what makes the story interesting....nothing more.
But for me to leave my creator and follow a God the Roman created in their own image and likeness will be self defeating. It is idolatry. My creator will not forgive me after warning me to desist from it.

Good and evil. Mention one instance in nature where there is singularity. Right can't exist without left, up can't exist without down, etc. Bad Devil is necessary because good God exists.
God made this a system of dualities. You can't have singularity. Even matter has antimatter. He assigned Himself the position of good. To obey His law of this system there has to be a counterbalancing bad!

Don't get it wrong.
God made all with the motive of fellowship.
As long as you are with him, you have light/life eternal.

Also, he gave all freewill to choose life or death.
When you depart from him, your life sustains you for a while until your eventual demise.

This concept is allegorically symbolized as Heaven and Hell.

The key difference being "presence of God".
It's not your fault, if your child decides to leave you to explore elsewhere🤕.

That "elsewhere" will be the machination of his own demise!
