The spikes on the speed breaker are designed to recline to the front when you go in the right direction. The same spikes will puncture the tyres when driven on in one way. Olayinka8793: 4 Likes |

Olayinka8793:It has a spring in one side. If you drive along the normal way, the nails will be pushed to lay flat on one side but if you aproach trough the wrong direction, the nails cannot bend and will pierce your tires. 2 Likes |

Olayinka8793: drive against one way on that route, your question will be answered When a car is moving in the correct direction, the spikes lay flat, letting the wheels roll over smoothly. But if someone tries to drive the wrong way, the spikes stay upright. If they keep going, the spikes puncture the tires, making it impossible to continue. 2 Likes |

I drove here yesterday, it was beautiful, the spike will puncture your tyre if you are coming from the other side, ( one way), But your tyre will press it down when coming from the right way

What's sad is that some people will still not like this action. I don't know why people have to be dragged like animals before they do the right thing.

Oyo people will see this and call it technological advancement! If you need to install such on a major road, then the level of lawlessness is something else plus this is just a fancy speed bump and will only end up causing traffic jams from having to slow down to climb them |

alphaconde: The tyre spike control will be switched off, just like traffic lights can also be switched off to allow for manual control. |

They ought to have had a thought that what "IF" there's a major accident in 1 side of the road, how will Traffic officers/Law enforcement officers divert Traffic from the part of the road that is closed? ![]() |

So many people don't know.. there are occasions that may demand taking one way. These include: 1. Ditches and bad roads. 2. Gridlock 3. Stampedes 4. Flood 5. Obstacles, dangers and collisions 6. Gullies 7. Violence 8. MAW,MOD, Construction sites 9. Rail crossing 10. I'm response to these, is shameful that the system, govt or those concerned often times do not provide alternative routes. |
