carl90:Food pairing has nothing to do with poverty of any sort, one man's food is another's poison. There's no day my aunty's husband who's a retired naval officer doesn't eat agidi and soup, he's not a poor man.......There was a day I visited and I tried it but I couldn't swallow it.

Beans and paw paw. Sometimes just to nourish the body. The paw paw can also be use to replace yam inside the beans. Eba/akpu and stew. Honestly i prefer this to normal soup, especially when boiled okro is added to it. But tomatoes is expensive now! Corn-meal. Ate it in school then. Just go to the market and buy a measurable cup of corn-flour. Prepare like porridge with just salt, pepper, onoins and red oil. And you are good to go! |
