Why not? You can very well and again you can enrol into an Open University as long as you have the required Credits so that
JAMB wouldn't be a necessity again.

I know I've made lots of mistakes. I know I fell off very early in life. I know I've achieved a lot and done so many good things for my family. Money is not the problem for me now, but I still feel something missing in me. My siblings and close friends are all graduates, except me.

Sometimes I get shy when I'm around them, and it makes me feel sad. I've been having this thoughts of going back, but I'll be 26 June this year, I don't know if it's too late, or how it might look to everyone.
Yes of course

Your advice please!!!

Bro
Education is good but there is still way more in life than education. Exposure has made me see that you can still have an amazing life without going through the walls of university.
The most important education you should have is the basic knowledge of primary and secondary. This prepares you for everything you need in life.
Since money is not an issue for you, I will suggest you take go into business and do part time schooling. A lot of graduates in Nigeria are job hunting, some are working for people who never went to school.

Summary of my plenty talk is “going to school is not proportional to a happy life”

Hustle hard and be a great person

Bros,

Thank your stars you you realize what you are missing. that when in four years time, you become a graduate, nobody would asked you when and at what age did you graduate.

Besides, don't ever allow other people's opinion dictate what happens in your life.

I wish you the best but ensure you don't miss the 2025 enrollment deadline.

Peace!

If you had this mentality while hustling, money would still be a problem for you till today.

What i mean by the above, take a decision and f**uck what people think. 4 years from now, you'll still 30. You can either be a 30year old graduate by then, or be a 30year old who allowed what people would think make him not pursue his desire to get a degree.

It's not too late, why not use the part time route to becoming a graduate?? You don't need JAMB for part time courses.

I was older than you when I got ission for a 5 years programme just because I didn’t give up.
So do what you have to do.

It depends on what you want. My pastor was encouraging us sometime ago. He started a degree in Law at 35. Today, he is a professor of Law.

I got into Uni the first time at 20.

Dropped out at 23.

Went back for "A" levels at 24.

Got back into Uni at 25, though 200 level.

Graduated at 29.

You can try "A" levels if you are ready to read like a man, but at least it's better than UTME with it's funny way of blocking entire centres for malpractice.

Your success will be in your own hands.

You will also escape 100 level stress.

I'll be 30 years old by July and I just got itted into Medicine and Surgery. Unlike you, instead of 4 years, I would spend 7 years in the university.

Never too late to pursue literacy dream .. Aspiration to become better educationally is a laudable dream. I once had a professor who told us how he wrote WAEC fourteen times before he could ed all because he had no money to go to formal school so he decided to learn at home through personal and friends effort . He wrote Advance level as external candidate, gained ission and later became a Prof before he died .

Correctly said, he doesn't need to go sit for jamb to study at conventional university when there is the option of open university.

I'm taking the path of studying at an open university I'm going to be 26 it's not too late to start all over
My set that I started university with are graduating this year but life happened and I couldn't study and graduate with them.

I made the decision to pick up the pieces of my life and start all over this time at open university and I'm taking it one step at a time
Kingdavid579:
I'm 26 and have recently gained ission.

As a full-time entrepreneur, I own a real estate brand and a mini electronics outlet.

My team consists of just 3 staff , including my first hire, a graduate.

I'd advise you to consider alternative educational paths.

Forget about JAMB and explore open universities, which allow you to study while hustling.

I was astute enough to recognize that a degree is merely a symbol; I prioritized making money first.

Ultimately, with or without a degree, our goal is financial stability.

I earned my first million naira before pursuing a degree.

You might feel unfulfilled if you struggle to express yourself in writing or speaking, or if you lack intellectual curiosity.

However, formal education can't guarantee these qualities.

Fortunately, I possess both strong communication skills and intellectual curiosity.

Interestingly, those who pursued traditional education often look up to me.

I'm pursuing a degree now simply because I feel like I've already sured those with degrees.

To me, the degree itself is somewhat irrelevant.

Moreover, I don't need a degree to secure a job, as my income is already substantial and self-sustaining.

In fact, my financial situation is such that no one can employ me, as my earnings are unmatched.

Just that not everyone who goes to school will make it / big . Ask yourself perhaps a trade school would suffice. Learn mechanic or barber or hair salon , construction and be honest and good . And you’d be able to put food on your table .

Pursue that degree, after that even top it with MSc if you can. There will still be someone older than you in class self.
After that do you think a PhD would be a good idea?

Except you are not serious about your life. I gain ission at your age. Still went for NYSC and today the rest is history. Most of my friend including my two of my younger siblings are already graduated and gainfully employed before I went back to school.
