In this case, the person with the superior argument on how best the health situation should have been handled is the wife, not her late husband. Cancer is best managed medically first, while prayers and other faith-based activities, though important, serve to give emotional and therapeutic .

Dey play! You can't rule out the spiritual aspect of this life. If evil people attack you, if you like go to the best hospital in the world, it can never be cured except you seek spiritual intervention.

Have you not heard about cases where someone is overly sick, and then taken to the hospital but Doctor will diagnose and not find anything? Have you not heard where doctor will tell a patient that nothing is wrong with him but the person is seriously sick and dieing off slowly?

My advise is: take both seriously. If it is truly a medical issue, it will be cured. But if it is spiritual issue, if you like go to the best hospitals, you can't resolve spiritual matters with medical treatment.

So, take both aspects seriously. Don't neglect your medical treatment and at the same time, don't overlook your spiritual life. Both go hand in hand.
