It seems the way the cards are arranged politically tinubu has everyone by the balls. So the igbo people would like the presidency to go to Peter obi however Peter obi at this point is just a vote divider and if they want to see their desire to kick emilokan out of power come to fruition they have to reject Peter obi the vote divider and all have to pitch their tent with atiku. But there is only one problem with that ? Atiku is a northerner and the south is still owed 4 years and so it seems tinubu is locked in till 2031. The whole chess board is arranged to where he can never lose. The whole chess board is arranged to where no one else can ever win, and am talking CLEAN WINNING NO RIGGING. He doesn't even have to rig. It's crazyyy bro lol

Peter obi is the pivotal part of the story because we know atiku the north can't get in after buhari did 8 years. So the pivot is Peter obi and ndi igbo

I think the north know atiku is a waste of time. I don't see them wanting to vote for obi. They have no choice. Many of them will choose not to vote for anybody and reject tinubu but enough of them know they have no choice. At the right time the hausa APC bigwigs will ginger the northerners up with bags of rice

Not might. He is going to get like 1/3 of what he got in 23. SE votes for Obi. 1/2 of SS votes for Obi. SW votes for tinubu, and the NE and NW vote Atiku. NC is where the battle lies. NC won't give tinubu more than 35 percent.

North doesn't vote for party. They vote for sentiments. The general sentiments now is anti tinubu. The so called APC bigwigs may not have enough muscle to flip that sentiment unless the Muslim clerics wade in. So far, that's not the case.

It's not that easy in the north. They largely vote by consensus. The last Friday prayers that precede the election will determine a lot.

Who are the people to lead anti Tinubu campaign in North when the likes of Buhari, Babangida, Abdusalam are still alive

Bro, when you look at how Buhari was neutral about the Apc primary, then you will understand the arrangements was for the south to do 8 years.

Northerners would rather wait for 4 years , than come to power in 2027 and not be sure of 2031. Should southerners complete another 8 years, the next 8 years is sure for them. South would only be jozzling for VP ticket

it's the format they have established among themselves in power sharing. 8 years each. Written in stone.

I created this thread some weeks below.

https://nairaland.unblockandhide.com/8329135/core-north-west-states-been

2 days ago, I saw a news about North West elders complaining about being marginalized. It's not deliberate marginalization, but they have not been on the round table whenever development projects are being shared across the Nigeria regions.

Those who have been around, they have already been reaping from government projects, e.g Southern Kaduna people, the christians dominated areas. Those are going to be spoilers in the NW.

VP Shettima is still maintaining some relevancy in North East, votes there can be shared if Atiku from the same region would still be contesting

North Central, the likes of Benue, Nassarawa affected by the bandits, Boko Haram are now sleeping with their two eyes closed. Moreover, they have never had issue with this government

South South, GEJ'S factors made them to realize they can only others for now. Their allegiance would be more to the South than north

South East, nothing much is expected from there, may be some decamping to get 20-25% of votes from the region

South West is secured

it does appear so. Locked and loaded as they say. Baba is making moves hopefully we will start to enjoy the effects. I strongly believe baba will turn everything around. We need every other state governors to step up so there people can return home to a nice environment and would be happy to stay there, so we can depopulate the SW. everybody can't all live in the SW. the infrastructure is crumbling

You see, his Excellency kept his presidency ambition secretly. He must have taken his time to plan on how to govern Nigeria without loose mouthing. I learned something from that

It cuz he has built his political empire to be strong to that level. No be 1 day job o. Some Tinubu’s loyalist have been with him for more than 15years. Those his loyalists also have their own loyalist which also have their own loyalist… Can you see, we already counting like 4th generation of loyalists loyal to Tinubu all across..

Jagaban nah strong hardcore politician. He took his time to built his base and it all worked out for him. You think it’s easy to defeat a sitting president then making his party friend president and finally making himself president?

He’s a political enigma!
