So we may not qualify again for the 2nd time?
With all the super stars?
That will be crazy.

Yeah too bad .

Nff moving backward by appointing ex malian player as coach of Nigeria super eagles.

With all abundant ex international players we have as coaches you can't even appoint any of them.

The high level of corruption in the Nff is second to none. Federal government must urgently look into this in order to salvage our image.

Sorry, this post does not make sense.

Ideye is 36 while Chelle is 47, that is 11 years difference.

Ideye was young at his early stage of his career while Chelle was at his retirement age.

So it normal if things happen as they are now.

What the writer is saying is that ideye is supposed to be a coach like Chelle when in reality both started their careers at different ages.

It’s a shame to appoint an Ex-Mali player as Super Eagles coach.

How on earth do you appoint some fellow who never achieved anything as a Player, never achieved anything as a Coach, never played in the World Cup to lead Nigeria's World Cup campaign? Who does that?

Someone who never even played in the World Cup! Someone who never even won AFCON! Someone who never even played in the Euro Champions League!

This is a country who has an Amunike who played for the great Barca, won AFCON, won Olympics, played in the World Cup, and proved himself as a coach by winning the U-17 World
This is a country who has a Siasia who won AFCON, played in the World Cup, and proved himself over and over again as a coach by reaching the U-20 World Cup final and winning Olympic medal twice

It's grossly unfair to have appointed this guy ahead of these Nigerian greats

In fact these guys in NFF should be arrested! This is sabotage!!

How is it a shame?
Why not apply, Mr high achiever, let them appoint you.
You are looking for trophy achievements. It starts when an opportunity like this has been given.

This is Nigeria na...

A shameless country with zero values.

I was even thinking the bloke is French not knowing that an ex-Malian player is the one managing Nigeria.

How the dude will be able to convince the big ego Nigerian players to deliver on the pitch should someone's project topic...

Dem don collect their own cut from the man salary na..

Naija na cruise....It is like a beached whale...everybody rushes to cut their own chunk...

The life of an African is riddled with rise and fall, only God knows why.

Exit the continent now

exit the continent so your pay masters like the russians, chinese, lebanese, arabs etc can take over the continent while we get trapped in the rat race overseas getting sunk in never ending bills while the neo colonizers take away our resources and decimate whatever is left of africa, abi? hmmmm this is the JAPA plot by our foreign enemies … to take over our land tomorrow while selling false dreams to our best and brightest of today encouraging them to flee their fatherland 😏

is there anywhere in the world men or humans generally do not rise and fall ?

What a career

But it's not wrong nah.
Most of the Brazilian super stars always go back to play in their local league before retiring.I really like the guy's decision to come back and play in his home country before he will retire.I travelled to watch him played last Sunday against the Black Bullets of Botswana in Godswill Akpabio Int'l stadium in Uyo and he scored a very beautiful goal in their 4:1 humiliation of the visitors.
The guy is still very active.
By the grace of God,I will still go and watch them this coming Sunday against Amazari of Egypt before traveling back to my base since I am still around in Uyo since that last Sunday.

What is the basis of the comparison now?
Being played mates doesn't make them age mates.

Either you like my comment or not, it doesn't matter all I'm honestly saying is that Nigeria is already out of the race. How on earth can a coach without any outstanding results as a player and coach be appointed to lead the National team. Well there's nothing corruption cannot do.

The primary cause of our constant need to shop for foreign football coaches is nothing but an inferiority complex, because I still believe that we have experienced Nigerian talents (coaches) who are on par with or even better than these foreign coaches and are capable of performing the same task or better, but we will not give them that opportunity.

Also, in the past when we hired Nigerians as football coaches, we never ed or gave them room to succeed. All we were doing then was constantly bullying them.

May we never relegate for our lives . Ideye come dey play Eyimba now so also Musa self come back to dey play Kano pillars .. i tire o

And I it is so painful with the way our NFF dey treat their own .. in my own perspective, SiaSia better off this Chelle .. , In fact Joseph Yobo better am , not to talk off , Oliseh , Taribo , etc .. but we do not value what we have untill we lose it ..
Look at how Genort Rhor almost use Benin player show us shege .. gernot would have being the best ahead of Chelle .

It's really very pathetic dirty local politics and corruption has completely destroyed all nigerian institutions am sure this malian guy will definitely be remitting some percentage monthly from his $55k salary to the nff boss that appointed him.
