Topic: I Can Do Whatever I Want With My Body

Scripture: I Corinthians 6:18-20 (NKJV)
18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

*THE PURE WORD*

There’s a dangerous lie—a flawed mindset—that the devil has used to mislead countless people across generations. It’s the belief, especially among young people, that says:
"It’s my body, so I can live however I want."

The truth, however, is that you did not create yourself—God did. In His love, God chose to make your body His temple, a dwelling place for His Spirit. Defiling this temple is both displeasing to God and carries serious consequences.

Scripture clearly states that your body does not belong to you but to God. It is not meant for sexual immorality but for serving the Lord. You were purchased at a price—the sacrifice of God’s only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who died for your sins.

Honor God with your body. Flee from sexual immorality and keep God’s temple pure.
