jazzman7711: Oh, Ojukwu was a military dictator? So why do you guys like a Military dictator like Murtala Muhammed so much to you put him on your currency, named Airports, buildings and highways after him, but hate Ojukwu? Is it because Murtala Mohammed was nothing Igbo? |
jazzman7711: 12:39am On Dec 26, 2024 |
gidgiddy: Because Gen. Murtala Muhammed was a NIGERIAN PATRIOT who fought in defence of the country, and also ruled EXCELLENTLY as head of State before he was brutally assassinated in 1976, while Col. Ojukwu was a SECESSIONIST DICTATOR IN MILITARY JACKBOOTS, whom nobody elected to seize any part of Nigeria and rename it a new country. 2 Likes |

Okoroawusa: Is Nigeria at war with any country or Tinubu is just at war with his conscience after stealing? |
gidgiddy: 12:53am On Dec 26, 2024 |
jazzman7711: Yeah, Murtala Mohammed fought to keep a British colonial contraption called Nigeria together, murdered hundreds of people in his first military coup, seized power by the barrel of the gun This is the high standards a Nigerian should have. But Ojukwu who was fighting for the freedom of his people from the British colonial contraption called Nigeria, that has never worked to this day, he was wrong? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Yeah, your Nigeria is really working. The Prime Minister of Netherlands can walk with people on the Streets with no security. But your Nigerian leaders that are doing exceptionally well cannot walk the streets without a battalion of Soldiers Nigeria is really progressing |

gidgiddy: Is it that you guys and logic are sworn enemies or something? We are talking about not moving with convoy and tight security, you started wailing about coups and how he tortured your people. I think it's better you guys just stick to your petty trading. Some things are just beyond your brain capacity, no matter how you try. 1 Like |

Softmirror: What about the style of US democracy is it that stops them from trekking to work other than that their racist policies created inequality, high crime rates and international terrorism which are the main reasons they can't walk freely on the streets, unlike the Dutch PM? |

Factcheck0001: You didn't understand what I said. All the things that makes crime to thrive exists in Nigeria that is why crime rate is high. I never said no crime in civilised countries. Come to look at the examples you mentioned. All the people you mentioned are facing the consequences of their actions. The certainty of being punished if caught is enough reason to deter people from going into crime which would at the long run lead to a reduction in the number of criminals in the society. The emphasis is reduction in the number of criminals, not elimination because crime cannot be completely eliminated in any society. There are many criminals walking free in Nigeria, that alone encourages others to go into crime. The talk is just have a God father or the money to bribe your way through. In China, someone was recently executed for stealing public funds. That money if I am not mistaken is not up to what Yaya Bello is alleged to have stollen. People would still steal in China but with great care and caution and you know what so many persons would evaluate the consequences and would decide not to go into it. Enjoy! |

Brenbentondiaz:civilians did not kill muritala neither was it thugs, armed robbers or kidnappers. It was the security - his inner caucus military officers. All the coups were done by their inner caucus security officers connived with their millitary caucus. So don't use that as excuse for ostentatious lifestyle of today politicians. If the military today are corrupt, ba still his personal security aides go kill am |

Insurgency: NAF to acquire more attack jets, helicopters – CAS The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is significantly enhancing its capabilities to combat insurgency and other security challenges by acquiring new aircraft. The Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has confirmed plans to procure 24 M-346 Fighter Ground Attack jets and 10 AW-109 Trekker helicopters. These acquisitions are part of a broader fleet renewal strategy aimed at bolstering the NAF's operational effectiveness. The first three M-346 aircraft are expected to be delivered by early 2025, with subsequent deliveries continuing until mid-2026. The AW-109 Trekker helicopters are anticipated to arrive by early 2026. In addition to these procurements, the NAF has recently inducted 12 new aircraft into its fleet, including four Diamond 62 surveillance aircraft, two King Air 360 light transport aircraft, four T-129 ATAK helicopters, and two AW109 Trekkers. Further pending acquisitions include three CASA-295 medium airlift/surveillance aircraft and 12 AH-1Z attack helicopters. These efforts underscore the NAF's commitment to enhancing its air power and operational readiness in the fight against insurgency and other security threats across Nigeria. |
