Muric is right on this buddy. To have a better Nigeria, we need to start holding people able for their actions regardless of their motives.
You're sounding ignorant with each post.. what action are you holding them able for? Is it for inviting people or for forcing people to attend the functions? They didn't break any law. You can have a stampede even in a stadium. Will you then blame the football clubs if such happens?
Abeg rest with your nonsense

Mind your business Muric

If people from other places chose not to hold the organizers of the stampede event, that's their headache.

The Police in Oyo state have done the right thing by arresting Hamzàt and Ex Olori. Their arrest is mostly for their own protection. Let them be taken away for quite some time while the parents of those who lost their kids get over it
How is arresting them the right thing?
What crime did they commit?
Your comments are usually far from commonsense

The first time I am agreeing with Muric.

Organizers should be held able. That's the way it's done all over the world.

Examples of some all over the world? Please.

This is a normal call for justice and to prove that some people are not above the law. If you don't have capacity to control crowd, don't invite thousands of people to come assemble at a spot because you want to distribute 1kg of rice for them.

They deserve some time in courts. Don't invite people to their deaths if you can't put in place the measure to control the crowd.

That means you are easy to deceive.

That muric I mentality is a childish mentality...

True people must be held able and the authorities knows that but believe me,if the Anambra and Abuja event planners were Islam, this muric will remain silent....the man is just a hypocrite.

When he said the Ibadan planners should be released if those of Abuja and Anambra are not arrested, there you have it

Who are the architects of hunger who in only one year turned the entire population of ordinary Nigerians to desperate scavengers?
The master strategists of poverty, hunger and deprivation are actually on phase 2 of the project. Phase one was completed between 2015 and 2023 when Nigerians were called names for working hard to better their own lives. Under them, enterprise became a sin and poverty was promoted as virtue as they did everything to chase industry away and discourage wealth creation.

Having succeeded, phase 2 is to make policies to shoot prices of goods and services to the sky and impose prohibitive tax on the masses. The result of this has been instant; mass poverty, debilitating hunger, totally unaffordable healthcare, desperation, frustration and anger in the polity.

The strategists are still strategising, as Nigerians are yet to see the last of these schemes.

But I think some people will survive, and the ultimate machinations of these pseudo strategists will disappear with them at the next round of polls.

Igbos condemned the arrest of queen Naomi. Even before the Okija incident, Peter Obi even made a statement towards that. The government is responsible for the hunger in the land. People were only trying to be philantropic.
Which Igbo, what did mumu obi say about okija disaster and did you know it happened under obi in anambra

The Abuja organizers has already been arrested. The government knows what they're doing. You can't teach them their job

The arrest was made after MURIC request. The fact that you are just seeing MURIC request on Social Media does not mean it is just being made.

If Okija stampede people or Abuja people have been arrested and Ibadan people are left free for days, your people would have been shouting marginalization, victimization, tribalism. We are not moved by your cry

stop assuming Obi to be ur father. Obi made a generall statement regarding the three incidents.

The stampede that you mentioned was bot because of hunger, people simply went to adoration and there was stanpede. Nobody was hustling for rice.

Only Two Policemen, Two Private Guards Were Present At Ibadan Deadly Stampede — Mother Of Ooni's Ex-Wife Naomi

December 26, 2024
News

The mother of Naomi Silekunola, a former wife of the Ooni of Ife, has revealed that only two policemen and two bouncers (private guards) were at the venue of the ill-fated Ibadan children’s party when the stampede happened.

SaharaReporters last Wednesday broke the news about how tragedy struck at the Islamic High School in Bashorun, Ibadan when a stampede occurred during a children's Christmas party.

Queen Naomi Silekunola Ogunwusi, the former wife of the Ooni of Ife, was a key organiser of the tragic children's festive party.

Additionally, Agidigbo 88.7 FM, owned by Oriyomi Hamzat, had actively promoted the event in the days leading up to the devastating incident.

Silekunola is among the three individuals remanded in custody by the Iyaganku Magistrate Court in Ibadan.

They face charges of conspiracy, acts of neglect causing harm, and failure to ensure adequate security and medical facilities at a funfair event where a tragic stampede claimed the lives of 35 children last week.

Mrs Funmilayo Ogunseyi, who was featured on Daddy Freeze's Instagram live video on Thursday, stated that only four security officers were there at the scene of the incident.

She stated that the organisers had already agreed with Oyo Police Command to deploy their personnel at the event around 8am, but the celebration had already descended into chaos before the police arrived.

She said, “Our plan was that the police should arrive by 8am. But our personal security was there (during the stampede). We had two policemen and two bouncers, they were there at the event that early morning. Our security men slept overnight at the venue.”
