This is a state project, owned and financed by the state. The state can decide to locate it anywhere they want. They only need to meet the rules and regulations set out by Civil Aviation Authority.

The FG controls such facilities like airports, you can't go building an airport without the permit of the FG through the ministry. You'll need licences and permits to get one operational

Adeleke is working no doubts. He's one of the best performing governors presently in Nigeria. Most indigenes of Osun are behind him but he needs to be smarter because Tinubu led APC arw desperate to snatch and run with Osun.

Less than 20 protesters, this seems sponsored but anyway the solution is simply to build the airport in the most modern of the two towns in dispute, so that the airport will be a functional one and not a waste.

Osun having a airport is a complete waste of our scarce resources. Ibadan Airport is less than 15mins to Ikire, Osun -state and less than 60 mins to Osogbo, Ife and Ilesha, why waste the scarce resources on a projects that will eventually become wasted.
