Oga, where are the ones they have been recovering since? What happens to those exhibits like laptops & phones they always claim to have recovered from online fraudsters?? How about the obscene amount of jewelry & funds recovered from Deziani, the economy surely should have recovered long ago if it had really been channeled back into the nation’s coffers. No point in celebrating wealth redistribution if the others recovered are still uned for. ![]() 1 Like |

Selective persecution. Dasuke who didn't steal half of this they publish his name and even all of his family. They even paid foreign newspaper to blackmail them. This EFCC is a joke.

More than 60% of the estates you see in Abuja are proceeds of stolen public funds being laundered. This is just one of them. Nigeria is cesspool of corruption. It should bother everyone alive in Nigeria how one person has the opportunity of stealing billions upon billions of our collective revenue to build such number of properties and nobody found out until he left office and got into trouble with EFCC. How does government allow people have uncontrolled access to public coffers and divert moneys without anyone checking or noticing immediately.

In today's fast-paced business world, getting your message out there is more critical than ever. One of the most effective ways to ensure your press release reaches the right audience is through a business news wire. A business news wire allows businesses to distribute their press releases directly to media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers, ensuring widespread visibility. This service is especially important for brands that want to reach a larger audience beyond just their immediate circle of followers or subscribers. Here are a few reasons why leveraging a business news wire is crucial for your brand’s success: Wider Reach A business news wire can help you get your message in front of thousands of media outlets worldwide, increasing the likelihood of your press release being picked up by top-tier journalists. Time-Saving Instead of individually reaching out to journalists or publications, a business news wire streamlines the distribution process, saving your team valuable time and resources. Credibility Boost When your press release is published through a reputable business news wire, it carries a certain level of authority, which can enhance your brand's credibility and reputation in your industry. Targeted Exposure Many business news wire services offer options to target specific industries, regions, or demographics, ensuring your press release is seen by the right people at the right time. In conclusion, a business news wire is an invaluable tool for brands looking to expand their reach and make a lasting impact in their industry. Whether you’re announcing a new product, partnership, or achievement, using a business news wire will help you get noticed by the right people and maximize your exposure. The recent announcement by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) regarding the final forfeiture of an estate containing 753 duplexes is a significant milestone in the fight against corruption in Nigeria. This asset recovery is the largest in the EFCC’s history since its establishment in 2003, underscoring the Commission's commitment to tackling economic and financial crimes. The estate, seized from a former top government official, serves as a strong message that the illicit accumulation of wealth through fraudulent means will not go unpunished. The court's ruling, which declared the property forfeited to the federal government, highlights the importance of upholding the rule of law and ensuring that those who engage in corrupt practices do not get to enjoy the proceeds of their crimes. EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, rightly pointed out that asset recovery is a critical element of the anti-corruption effort. Depriving corrupt individuals of their illicit gains not only weakens their ability to resist prosecution but also serves as a deterrent to others who may be tempted to engage in similar activities. Asset tracing and recovery are essential tools in dismantling the financial power of criminals, ensuring that they cannot use their ill-gotten wealth to perpetuate their illegal activities. This development also reinforces the notion that the fight against corruption is ongoing and relentless. It sends a clear signal to both the public and potential wrongdoers that the EFCC is committed to rooting out corruption at all levels of government. The forfeiture of this estate is a positive step forward, and it is a reminder that no one, regardless of their position or status, is above the law. |
