My wife is a lieutenant in d Nigerian Army, her salary alone doesn't even cover her own basic needs not to talk of how to the family.

Her salary is not even up to $200. That's bad. A whole Lieutenant to be promoted next year to Captain. She is receiving that amount... just imagine.

Not all male soldiers are involved in combat as well. Some are medics, cooks, cleaners, lawyers etc both genders.
