The only people praising Tinubu's policy are the people benefitting directly from his government.Tinubu is out of his depth,he has no solution to Nigeria's problem, he will only compound to it.

I don't think Tinubu would have accepted this policy if he was in our shoes. He is not feeling the pain because he is stealing all the resources.

Stories… So why did Tinubu draft a 3 year economic revival plan with his eight point agenda as of August 29, 2023 of which we’re yet to see any tangible results till date? 🤷 1. food security; 2. poverty eradication; 3. growth, 4. job creation; 5. access to capital; 6. inclusion; 7. rule of law; and 8. fighting corruption https://punchng.com/translating-tinubus-8-point-agenda-to-recovery/?amp And the 50 million jobs promised between 2023 to 2026 https://nairaland.unblockandhide.com/7821154/tinubu-sets-3-year-economic-revival 4 Likes |

Painful decisions are not the only way to solve Nigeria's economic problems. Tinubu government claims that they are implementing Atiku and Peter Obi's manifestos, but it never heard where Peter Obi was harping on production as the way out. Instead, Tinubu continues on the path of mostly consumption. For example, the money being used to construct coastal road should have been channeled into development of productive capacity.

Did you observe that it is only those in government that see what is happening in the country as normal?! That is abnormal. By any standard. It's laughable when they refer to the current hardship as a tough decision he has to take. A tough decision would have been going after those that claimed 'subsidy payment' on what they did not import; A tough decision would have been ensuring the borders are well-manned by incorruptible Immigration Officers to curb smuggling into neighboring countries; Tough decision would have been removing frivolous expenses from the National Budget; a tough decision would have been ensuring that the Governmen-owned Refineries work and bringing to book those that have made sure that they don't; Tough decision would have been putting all those that have siphoned public funds in the past behind bars; Throwing the entire citizenry under the bus while those who steal Nigeria away continue to enjoy their loot is no tough decisions. Or maybe it is. Because it takes a decent level of heartlessness to do such. 1 Like |
