You claimed Nigeria gave the losers money. I sought to burst your bubble. Don't derail from the argument

What exactly did you think would happen?
That You would have access to your funds to prosecute the war?
You lost your money, that should have been the end of that story,
Infact in most civil wars, whole ethnicities are systematically wiped out
But Awolowo was a gentleman, if not you would all be muslims by now

".....You confirmed what Ken Saro Wiwa said in his book that he and Chief Biriye and other Chiefs visited you and said they would not go with the Igbo people in the same Region. Therefore, you created Rivers State and Cross River State for them to stop Biafra....."

Hmmmmmm

Please how are the Ogonis faring in Rivers State?

The Ogonis fared better because they own their lands which the IIGB0S wanted to collect from them

None of these bears any relationship to our argument. You said the Nigerian government dashed igbos money after the war. that is the crux of my argument. All these tonnes of bull you are trying to share doesn't concern me

Igbos have a name for wayward children like you. There might be a need for DNA test to determine your true root. And No, I don't even know what IPOB is or stands for. I still argued with my townsman over the MNK stupidity and the other one abroad but as for the war stories, go and read Emeka Madiebo's book. It was your then elders that gave Ojukwu the go ahead to declare Biafra seeing the number of dead and decapitated bodies being brought in from Northern Nigeria on a full scale massacre. May I never be related to something like you. Tufiakwa

Here we go again another one talking from his anus. Bia, so in your little mind every Igbo must hate everybody? So every Igbo must sleep and face one direction no one has right to reason delifferently? You are the one that needs emergency DNA to be carry out on you.

Yes! you lost the war woefully and still got 20 pounds,
Most of you got your properties back!
Look at Gaza and understand what war means

Imagine Israel giving Palestinians ordinary water not to talk of money

....And the Igbos killed Saro Wiwa and the Ogoni 9 because of Ogoni land? I always laughed with relish whenever my project took me to Ogoni land, their kids walking around almost naked on bare feet within a terribly degraded environment - I the book, 'sunset at dawn' and how Ken sold out. He is continuing the fight now from wherever he is. The North remains Ogoni's best friend

Why does America sanction countries?

Everybody wants to break out,but no one wants to be seen as an enemy of the country the way some people are seeing Igbos now.The country is not making anybody proud because of her foundation but we are just pretending that all is well.I know that one day Biafra will go and other groups will also go.

I take it you are a living witness and saw everything first hand since according to you my father misled me. My father did not author all of the books I have read on post civil war in Nigeria. Read wide on the history before, during and post that war. Just to add, Ojukwu funded the war mostly with his father's wealth.
how ojukwu got his money is not my business, but from the books you read didn't you read that ojukwu robbed Nigerian banks?
Didn't the book tell you biafrans that had their money in pounds were paid by their money?
Didn't the book tell you that twenty pounds were only paid to people that had their money in biafra currency?
Didn't the book tell you biafrans are the only losers of war that were paid after the war in Africa?
Is it the books that asked you to be misleading people online with lies?

I was really surprised when yorubas leaders went and submitted a letter of intention tp secede to the prime minister of Britain and there was no wimp, no reaction from any part of the country. It was fully business as usual.

But when any igbo tries this, the whole kangaroo military will weep and bewail their fate while the presidency will be in epileptic mode with the president vomiting from both sides of the mouth. While Nigerian vultures like Reno omokiririri , wole soyinka , doyin olupe, fani kayode , asari Dokubo and onanuga will start dragging Peter obi up and down

Now you understand the hypocrisy in Nigeria

Seun, your website is now a full blown circus where all kinds of animals come to throw vile insults at Igbos.

What an eyesore!

To the matter at hand, it is obvious that Nigeria can never work the way it is currently structured. We must go back to the regional system of government or watch Nigeria become another Yemen or Venezuela.

Meanwhile, Gowon and co did what they had to do, in line with the masters of Nigeria's bidding (Britain).

For me, Nigeria failed Igbos by allowing the pogroms of 1966 go on without stepping in. Tens of thousands of Igbos and southerners were massacred, and their bodies sent home in trailer loads.

Aburi agreement or not, that alone is sufficient to declare Biafra, and rightly so.

May the souls of those who have been lost to the injustice in Nigeria from 1914 till date continue to haunt the country until the right things are done, and until we entrench justice, equity and truth.

We will never forget.

Make Una rest abeg,
Of all the civil wars in Africa, only Nigeria gave money to the losers of the war! Una no go move on?

The Nigerian civil war was a dark moment in Nigeria history.
There was cases of abuse of human rights/ atrocities on both sides.
The Nigerian army were brutal against the Biafran civilians , while the Biafran soldiers were also brutal against the Nigerian side. Bayelsa and Delta states bear the brunt of the Biafran soldiers.
We have to move on, but there should be a deep healing process.
Regional system will help initiate the healing process in my own opinion.

Gowon is an example why you should do Evil...
Karma doesn't exist...
After the role he played in the war, one would think he would be long dead...
But look at him today....

The blood of those innocent children & women massacred shall forever demand justice. Unfortunately, Nigeria will pay and continue to pay in blood... It's called WAR CRIMES for a reason!

Gowon & all those responsible directly and/or indirectly HV their fate sealed in hell already!
Not only did Gowon renege on The Aburi Accord that he signed-o, he also supervised medicine supplies blockage & gave Cameroon very Oil-Rich Bakassi Peninsula free of charge for cooperating in the blockage. Today, Russia & Ukraine are at war, yet, Russia did not block anywhere...

For those asking why do so-called wicked people sometimes live long...just check this out:

Ecclesiastes 8:11-13
[11]Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
[12]Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:
[13]But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.

The irony is after drinking blood to keep Nigeria as one, Nigerians, today, are more divided & almost every major tribe wants out! Guz: Nigeria expired: 1914-2014!

You laugh with relish at how Ogoni children are in a "degraded environment"?

You have a lot of unresolved issues. See a psychiatrist for what ails you.

agree that the legislative and executive authority of the Federal Military Government should remain in the Supreme Military Council, to which any decision affecting the whole country shall be referred for determination provided that where it is possible for a meeting to be held the matter requiring determination must be referred to military governors for their comment and concurrence.

Specifically, the council agreed that appointments to senior ranks in the police, diplomatic, and consular services as well as appointment to superscale posts in the federal civil service and the equivalent posts in the statutory corporation must be approved by the Supreme Military Council.

The regional felt that all the decrees ed since January 15, 1966, and which detracted from previous powers and positions of regional governments, should be repealed if mutual confidence is to be restored.

Sounds good sir, but why didn't he even sign that?
Revisionism, denying history and outright myopic lies are the reasons why Nigeria is worse off today that before the war. You are contributing to our backwardness with these lies.
Yesterday it was Igbos, today its middle belt, and surely it will be Yoruba turn tomorrow.

This is the consequence of not teaching history in schools. Nigeria gave money to the losers by freezing all their s and ensuring everyone with an received 20 pounds only irrespective of how much deposit they had in their ? Arguing with Nigerians can be annoyingly irritating because they don't know and don't also wish to learn

What stopped Biafra and Ojukwu from returning the money he looted from Calabar Benin And Port Harcourt Banks and Central Bank after the War to the owners?

This people should just keep quiet

I am a Yoruba man, my own brothers who were not soldiers were conscripted to fight in the war.
Which one concerned my family and igbos fighting Nigeria.
Many innocent Nigerians equally died in the war, many lost businesses and property.

Ojukwu was warned by Wole soyinka, Awolowo, Professor Sam Aluko

He said he was going to fight with sticks
Useless people making unnecessary noise over the years

It was a civil war because the igbos went beyond their region. They didn't stop at where there border ended.

I'll not blame Igbos for calling out Gowon.

Because if it was a Fulani or Hausa that Igbos slaughtered during the war and the person who headed the slaughter was still alive, they'd threatened that the North will never forget and will always pay back.

But then, Igbos should focus on holding their leaders able for still remaining in Nigeria.

The law is simple... Ensure that all the lawmakers you will vote from your region s the movement of Biafra. Vote them into power and let them sponsor a bill for it. That is the starting point.
with Nigerian politics it's not going to work that way

“If Britain could become a Great Britain with four nations called Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales, Nigeria can also become a Great Nigeria with six nations created from the existing six geopolitical Regions. This is what the Nigerians want now.

After all said and done, Nigeria needs to be restructured with the centre deconstructed for the country to truly make progress. Progress made during the regional systems of government are yet to be sured since then
