NwaNimo1:Nigeria as a country, is not cursed, but rather the people within it are. This raises an important question: what are you doing to change your own situation? If the people are the ones who are cursed, then it's up to each individual to take action and work towards reversing that curse. So, what steps are you taking to improve your circumstances and make a positive impact? Peace! |

Ofunaofu:..as oil marketers are now allowed to buy direct from Dangote refinery..oil marketers will fix their own price.. depends on how much they buy it from Dangote refinery |

Ofunaofu:Fixing pump β½ price means back to subsidy but asking private marketers to buy PMS directly from private refinery means promoting free market enterprise. The difficulty is initial high PMS price. The benefits are elimination of corruption in subsidy, improved competition which brings price down and offers higher quality service, more refineries will come on stream, more job availability, savings in fx because of no more importation of petroleum products, energy security etc. |

Tinubu is behaving as if he does not know what he is doing. Too much policy summersault and Nigeria is too big for his economic experiment. The rate of our inflationary growth is alarming and unhealthy . Prices just increase without control just because they want to please their colonial masters . When I saw him jumping to ,I knew they will initiate him to their freemsnson group to pepper this nation

Emeskhalifa:Question is how did NNPC become a limited liability company from a public corporation? Buhari still has a lot to answer. He practically maimed this country. |

lexy2014:So what is deregulation? A free market where FG has no influence' it is. I condemn the price hike but permitting marketers to buy directly from refinery without FG (NNPC) in the equation is a very big step in the right direction. 1 Like |

CommonSense1967:Quite true. But the case then was there wasn't a functioning refinery when subsidy was removed.. Now Dangote has started delivery PMS this the best time. |
