I am not down grading neither is Kemi. you are cleaning bottoms, that is your job, you dont have a problem applying for the job, taking the job and collecting the money for the job but when they call you a bottom cleaner you take offense....is that not what you do?

i am not down grading, I lived in the Uk, I did all sorts of jobs when I first got there, macdonalds, can driver, security guard even though i am a citizen. If you called me a fast food worker taxi driver or security, fine because that is what i was when i did those jobs. I did what i had to do to survive but guess what.... i only lasted 4 days at macdonalds because I refused to clean toilets which was part of the job. if you clean peoples piss and shit you are a bottom cleaner...deal with it.

It is quite illogical to drop your academic qualifications and professional experience just to pick up a blue collar job. Most people in the UK that are into care and security didn't even make it to the university. It saddens me when I see former bankers, lawyers, risk managers in UK doing menial jobs. How do we plan to transform our own country when the professionals are constantly going on exodus to the UK just to wipe ass. The painful thing is that these folks were comfortable in Nigeria

There is nothing like trading self respect or dignity here. A job is a job. There are people who can and can't do it. Same as people look down on uber/ cab drivers or even truck drivers too and so many other jobs. That u can't do it doesn't mean u talk down on those who do it. The job u do that puts food on ur table might be something I can't ever be caught dead doing and vice versa but doesn't mean anyone should talk down on the other.
