#FearlessInOctober Protests: Take-It-Back Movement Unveils Time, Convergence Points For Protesters In Lagos, Rivers, Kwara, Others

September 24, 2024

The nationwide protests aim to highlight the pressing issues of hunger and economic hardship, and draw the attention of President Bola Tinubu’s istration to the plight of Nigerians as a result of its policies.

The organisers of the #FearlessInOctober protests have released the time and convergence venues for the event, scheduled to commence on October 1, 2024 until the demands of the protesters are answered.

The nationwide protests aim to highlight the pressing issues of hunger and economic hardship, and draw the attention of President Bola Tinubu’s istration to the plight of Nigerians as a result of its policies.

Take It Back Movement in a post on its social media handle on Tuesday stated that Lagos State protesters are to gather at Ikeja Under Bridge at 7:30 am. The convergence point for protesters in Rivers State was identified as Pleasure Park, Port Harcourt, with participants asked to assemble by 7:30 am.

Borno State’s protesters will converge at the Arewa Youth For Peace Office, located on Damaturu Road, with a starting time of 8:00 am. In Yobe State, the venue is Damaturu Main Roundabout, opposite the Old Motor Park to Maiduguri Road, and protesters are expected arrive by 8:00 am.

The location for Kwara state is Ilorin Post Office Under-bridge and protesters are expected to be there by 8:00 am.

The #FearlessInOctober protest seeks to mobilise citizens to demand better governance and urgent action from the government to address widespread issues affecting the populace.

The organisers have urged all Nigerians to the movement in pursuit of a more able and responsive leadership.

For more jokes. grin cheesy

Again, we have focused the message to the business owners in Nigeria not to in anyway any protest or they might have themselves to be blamed.

The idlers who refused to do something about whatever they might be going through but want to be blaming FG as if they have added FG to their next of kin don't have anything to loose.

Dear Jagaban lovers,

What is the progress update on Tinubu’s eight point agenda he promised Nigerians in 2023? This is over one year now. How far?

1. food security;
2. poverty eradication;
3. growth,
4. job creation;
5. access to capital;
6. inclusion;
7. rule of law; and
8. fighting corruption

What about the 50 million jobs promised between 2023 to 2026? How many has Tinubu and his government created?

The mistake Nigerians keep making is they think this is a democratic government. grin

All top shots in this istration has at least one heavy fraudulent case to their name.

You are dealing with the worst set of human beings from the deepest part of hell. They are out to full capture the economic nerve center of Nigeria (oil and gas especially) and become the new national overlords.

It's either you go for a full revolution or you sit back and take the rubbish they give you. Protest is a waste of time, energy and resources.

To kill a snake, go for the head 🗣️

Tinubu is a tyrant and like he promised to continue from where Buhari stopped.... He's taking over his steps to suppress anything that is linking to protest .....

He arrested the NLC chairman indirectly because of the strike actions. And went after everyone who organised the protest.

But October 1st will be a success and Tinubu will have to arrest all of us.

We are all going to protest because it's our right.

Don't wish; take action.

Do wish that Tinubu's so-called reforms will get better; no, it's actually getting worse.

yarimo, helinus, Tinubu paid agents, BATerians, Obidients, no matter your divide, don't wish; take action.

The protest needs to be realistic and focused.

There have to be demands for both the Federal and state governments.

Lolz , yeye protest where the organisers will run and hide on protest day or even travel to USA . The rich people among the protesters when arrested will be freed and not charged to court, the ordinary citizens will be taken to prison and spend months in detention while the organisers of the ame protest goes behind and collect money from government.

Those arreated during the last protest are still in jail,surely they won't come out until January.
Before you any protest better think twice .
