If you are a victim is this what you will type? Those drivers might not have driving license if true that is murder case on them, if they have that will be considered manslaughter. Everything is about Police collecting money or bribe and you will be the one comparing them with Police in other climes

The first thing they should haver done was apply first aid assuming they know one otherwise they radio NEMA or the relevant authorities first before taking the surviving victims to the hospital to ascertain they have no internal injuries or complications from the accident and after that they can be questioned to determine the root cause. You just don't put someone who came out of such a situation on handcuffs. The way some of u reason just clearly shows we really deserve all of what we are getting from Nigeria

Our police force is a disgrace to police profession worldwide. They are only interested in their personal gain and nothing more. In a normal country they would try to find out the identity of the victims and try to locate their families if possible but here they are handcuffing the survivors because of probable bail money.

But what would an 18 Yr old be doing out at about 1 am with friends? Parents of these days and age. They have failed in their responsibilities.

Even in so called advanved if you cause an accident due to reckless driving you will be arrested on the spot.

You people should stop bringing sentiments into everything.

An accident that happened at 1am on a Sunday morning when the road was virtually empty was likely caused by recklessness on the part of one or both drivers

What if the Policemen were actually chasing them, why arrest the two drivers at an accident scene?? Just saying sha, but the story surely does not add up.

Why is an 18year old without a license out on the road by 1a.m? See fast life. His fellow younglings are gone now, and he's in serious trouble.

18 year old boy driving is not a crime. It is constitutionally and ethically right.

If he has a valid and original drivers license, and not influenced by drugs and alcohol, then it is acceptable. Accident are unavoidable. The most morale people do have accidents.
