A POS operator has shared her shocking experience of how a supposed ₦70,000 deposit mysteriously turned into ₦20 notes, with only a ₦1,000 note wrapped around the bundle of ₦20 notes. Speaking in the Yoruba dialect, she warned others to be vigilant of this new scam.

Not limited to POS operators alone as targets but also targets sellers of different kinds of goods including electronics and food items

Lol. They always recount but don't actually pay attention. The lady that I know who sold the electronics worth 400k actually counted the money but didn't pay attention until someone came in and told her that she was counting 100 notes. That was when she noticed but it was too late as the scammer already left with the item.
My problem with her was that why did she allow him to leave when she was still counting the cash even if she didn't pay attention to the 100 naira notes?

It's not jazz

You got rushed n distracted
You lost focus, after counting in N1000s, you gave him back and he exchanged the bundles with N20s.

Why should she give him back the money ?..and how?

The more you look, the less you see😁😁

Yes, the lady confirmed in the video that the deposit was made at night. But honestly, let’s forget about it—people involved in these kinds of activities know exactly what they're doing. Can you really count up to 200 notes of ₦20 and not notice the difference between that and a ₦1,000 note?

Free the people of this world o.

I get your point, may temptation stay far from our abode

Seriously! Same thing happened to someone close to me in Abuja sometimes ago in Abuja when a man bought provisions from her shop and the money turned to #10 bundle! According to the woman, someone around who was playing with his phone actually snapped the car the man (fraudster) came with. I saw the money but couldn't believe it. This is the fraudster vehicle he came with to buy the goods. The man on blue is the culprit

After counting, the depositor must have exchanged the one one she counted with a counterfeit when the POS operator attention is not there

Was hypnotism used on her? There’s the need to be watchful because the desperate times is bringing out desperate measures from evil people who can go any length to feed their selfish desires.
This is why money is to be handled by banks and their ATMs and not just any riffraff POS operator at the side of the road.

I run pos and have many outlets. The money was swapped in her hand and she is too lazy to recount her cash after customer collected it in the first place

Is the POS attendant sure that she wasn't carried away by the duper's flirting when they were conversing?
it's real. They duped her. They switched the money they gave her.
That's why the dupers don't take such money to bank to deposit. Because in bank, there's a barrier between the customer and the teller. Once the teller count the money and it, they put it in the box and close, so u can't switch it.
