Hello everyone, I made a post on my review on the airtel 5G unlimited router. Let's just say the speed nearly drove me mad, There were times I couldn't use the router unless at night time because it was just too slow.
It's truly unlimited but the speed is a joke.
So last month I purchased starlink and it cost me about 440k on jumia with 38k monthly subscription fee and I must say, The speed is incredible!
I experience an average of 200-300mbps and even hit up to 458mbps as compared to airtels 20mbps.
I can a 75gb file in 1 hour but I used 3 days to a 100gb file with airtel router.

The only major disadvantage is, If you don't have constant power then you have to use your gen constantly to power it and it's not portable at all. You'd have to completely unwire it to take it to another location and the data plans are very specific to your current location.

So if I go from Lagos to Abuja, I can't use it in Abuja as I'd have to resub again for Abuja location.
If you can afford it, I highly recommend it! My videos almost never buffer even at the highest possible quality.

Most likely a location issue. I use the airtel unlimited 20 plan with an ODU and I get a seamless experience. Streaming, browsing and s in a breeze. I guess experiences differ. Everyone should use what works for them. The most important consideration is that one gets value for money well spent.

Is starlink unlimited or is the data capped? I have some people say your speed gets throttled once you exceed 1tb allocated to you for that particular subscription. Someone clear the air on this please

Yea location affects but you can't experience a very good and speed on Airtel or any other Nigerian network for that matter, except during midnight.

Most of them do not go beyond 10-20mbps at their fastest, which could be as low as 10kbps when the traffic is much. MTN, Airtel, Glo, they're all the same,

Please go on the company's website and post your complaint on there so the company can look into improving their service based on this.

Networks are generally locational. The same Airtel Unlimited can do the same job and at most you can do Unlimited 40 instead. It cost N35,000. You have mobility, battery backup and 3k less monthly is saved and the initall N440k cost for starlink doesnt come into play.

this pastor is a big liar or are you paid to discredit airtel 5G because that is what i am using in my house and also have few people that are using it also and is very fast and wonderful
