Tinubu has a lot of work to do How could NUPRC be pushing that hard and the IOC still dont wanna do the needful? Is the IOC not answerable to any higher body? cant NUPRC report the IOC to a higher body? It seems there are too many loopholes in that ministry and FG might prolly have to overhaul the entire ministry to fight the corruption 6 of 15 isnt 60% by the way 45 Likes 5 Shares |

I appreciate Dangote for always keeping us in the loop. Transparency is key in this game, and his proactive approach is refreshing. This clarification will help dispel any rumors and keep the focus on the refinery’s progress. We are rooting for you, Dangote! Let’s get this refinery running smoothly.

Na wah, some people just like to create confusion where there’s none. Dangote always gets things done, and this clarification is just another step to keep the naysayers quiet. Progress must continue, no matter the noise!

Dangote should have just gathered $5bn extra to buy OMLs. All his businesses produce from assets they own, they don't buy raw materials from anybody. There is even a fertiliser company that bought OML just to secure gas supply for their factory. If this refinery was in Niger delta, Dangote will simply site the refinery on his OML. Even greenville lng has their own OML. Ever before building this refinery, Dangote should have been buying OMLs. 25 Likes 4 Shares |

SocialJustice: This is what I have been saying. Let him go and raise fund, buy oil well and drill his own crude. All these IOC nonsense and government playing politics will stop. Because I don't understand how IOC will not fulfill local obligations and be exporting the country crude. Makes no sense. So IOC is now more powerfully than our government and can do whatever they like in our country. SMH. The country is sold. 3 Likes |

Why will a law mandate a country to sell her resources to a private establishment and meet allnthe demand of such private establishment. Obviously something is wrong somewhere. In Nigeria need to stop selling crude to international market to meet Dangote's refineries demand because "it is a law" We all know that Dangote is not going to sell fuel cheaper to Nigerians. His cement is an example. So what is the benefit of common man. 3 Likes |

Too many conflicting interests in the Nigerian oil sector.. but then it is the people that are bearing the brunt. Nigerians are currently queuing over a distance of kilometres.. just to get fuel in their cars and generators for 800-900. Nothing wey you go tell me, juju dey this thing.. Government don use juju jazz all of us like this.. very unbelievable!! how are we okay with this nonsense 🤔🤔 1 Like |

NNPC needs to answer questions on the crude allocation for domestic consumption over the years We all know our refineries have not been working while crude has been statutorily allocated to them per month Yet we keep hearing humongous figures for subsidy on our crude that was refined for us by international refiners Either NNPC has been selling the crude and still pocketing money for subsidy Or NNPC has been buying petroleum products while keeping the crude away This requires serious investigation 2 Likes |

trutharena: We all can see why our refineries will never work. It's a multi dimensional conspiracy both from Nigeria and overseas. Haven't you heard that Saudi Arabia refused to sell crude to Dangote Refinery? Imagine Dangote Refinery struggling to free itself from the shackles and conspiracy of oil cabals who are afraid of losing the West African oil market to Dangote. I don't know how an average business man would survive their threats. 2 Likes 1 Share |

4words: How is Dangote a local content. When refined fuel sells at almost same cost as imported. And the example you cited did not follow. None of the companies ed by US threatened government export revenue and their trade dispute with China doesn't mean many tiger countries are not trading freely and competing with locals. |
