Voters in some of the most important swing states trust Donald Trump more than Kamala Harris on foreign policy, according to new polling from the Cato Institute.
This is especially important as the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East continue to put the world on edge.

Most Americans are tired of entanglements in foreign conflicts and peace during Trump’s first term.
Voters trust former President Donald Trump more than Vice President Kamala Harris when it comes to foreign policy, according to a poll released on Monday.

The Cato Institute commissioned YouGov to poll 1,500 Americans across Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, three crucial swing states.

Most notably, the survey found that voters trust Trump more than Harris to handle foreign policy by four percent in each state.

bro let’s face facts I watched the debate live from 2am, Harris was more articulated, opinionated and focused more resolutions. But Trump was more on the attacking side criticizing and tactically dodging every questions thrown at him. Look at the question on abortion see how Harris narrated how they’re going to tackle that issue and the reason why the ed the abortion bill. But trump gave no reason rather he just said Harris and Biden are killing babies even if no reason is given. Another thing I noticed about Trump he’s a faccist and he’s a sexist as well at one point in the debate he even wanted to shut Harris up. When Harris was talking. Ok during their closing remarks instead of Trump to give a closing remark like Harris did he started criticizing Harris and Biden.

My take on Trump and Harris, Trump only plays emotional politics he says what Americans want to hear like Doomsday, illegal immigrants trying to steal your jobs and kill you. I forgot in one part of the debate he said that illegal immigrants are killing and eating pets.. whereas Harris is more focused on human capital development, safety, protecting the dignity of Americans.
Harris is my choice. Even though it’ll be difficult for a woman to lead the US.

Trump leads Harris in Michigan after debate — as black voters help boost ex-president

New polling of the battleground Wolverine State suggests the Tuesday debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump didn’t help the Democrat in the chase for 15 electoral votes — though the Republican’s performance was widely panned.

The Insider Advantage survey conducted Wednesday and Thursday morning shows the former president with a 49% to 48% lead in Michigan, an advantage that includes a 5-point lead with independents, per pollster Matt Towery.

That’s not the only surprise Towery finds.

“The poll also showed a slightly higher amount of for Trump among African-Americans (around 20%), which may be an aberration, or a reflection of higher African-American numbers seen in recent national surveys such as The New York Times survey,” Towery adds.

That 20% threshold is significant, given Trump campaign surrogates told The Post this summer they hope to get 25% to 30% of the black-male vote. The former president garnered just 12% of the black vote in 2020.

Towery cautions the surge in black may be a Michigan-only phenomenon and may not matter that much in this particular state.

“Michigan’s African-American vote, while not insignificant, is half that of swing states such as Georgia, so the elevated numbers, if reduced to past historical levels, would not change the basic tie within the margins. I suspect that for various reasons unique to Michigan in this cycle, the African-American numbers are fairly accurate, at least for this stage in the contest.”


VP Harris is expected to win the black vote but Trump is picking up steam with the minority community that has historically voted Democrat.

Towery also notes the debate didn’t have much effect on voter sentiment.

“The race remains extremely competitive both in Michigan and likely all of the battleground states,” Towery said, arguing that “the debate had little or no impact on the contest, particularly among independent voters, in this particular state.”

Across all battlegrounds, where 93 electoral votes are at stake in total, post-debate polling from Trafalgar shows a 48%-48% tie.

This is the second recent poll from Michigan to show Trump ahead with independents and in a strong position generally against Harris.

Co/efficient’s survey of 931 likely voters conducted between Sept. 4 and 6 showed a tie with Harris overall and a 25-point lead with independents in the state.
