Violent protest is not the answer but government should not aggravate it
Chinkoalhaji34: 6:41am On Aug 02, 2024
Na wa! This na the kind wahala wey we no need for Niger.

Why dem go turn to arsonists instead of finding better ways to express their grievances?

All this violence go only make matters worse. We need peace, not chaos!

Nigerians really need to rethink their approach to protest. Setting fire to public property only shows how lost we are in our demands.

Instead of addressing issues, we are busy creating more chaos. This isn’t the way to make a change; it’s just pure madness!

Had it been that incompetent Emiloko you voted to power did the right thing first ..all these would been averted..he was adamant despite earning from the organisers to embark of the protest..useless leaders and useless ers of useless Apc

While I want them to face the full wrath of the law, I also want the Yeye Bello of Kogi and Emefiele to also face the same faith because I don't want double standard

If you re poor, don't expect the same treatment. Thus is Nigeria where there is no equality.

Northerners no just get sense, once their region is destroy and weak then Igbo Zionist will come out in full

I used to think north are politically smart, they didn't know this protest is not about hunger hardship only? But a political protest of those that lost election

Or how will setting property ablaze, looting will a message to Tinubu, is it Tinubu that will build state govt destruction back?

These violent protesters have crossed the line! Setting ablaze public property only shows their lack of respect for the law and order. It's time for the authorities to take decisive action against these miscreants.
while I'm not in of looting and destruction by protesters, come to think of it, how many national treasury looters have actions been taken 'decisively ' against? Are they not always compensated with juicy positions? Many of those in power today are known national treasury kleptomaniacs!.....but of course, the law is always for the poor and never the rich.

Their actions is pure proof of line between hunger, anger; and Madness. A sample of warning to our leaders on the danger's ahead.

There is no justification for it whatsoever. What brought the Arab Spring was a lone protester setting himself ablaze in Tunisia. And that single action brought down the government in many Arab countries.

So, instead of encouraging them to set fire on public properties thereby infringing on the right of others, tell them to set themselves ablaze...since you're so much in love with what they have done. The next place to be burnt may be your village.

This isn't protest, this is wat the government want so they can loot more, until Nigerian brace of stupidity, ignorance and illiteracy, there wont be change

Who else noticed that all the incidents from the protest occurred in the north? Isn't that enough to point out that the sponsors may be from that region?

Is like Igbos & IPOB are living rent-free in your brain.
Focus on the topic of the thread and live Igbos alone.
I know you guys are looking for any slightest reason to drag Igbos into this protest.

The Igbo’s think they are smart! They ignited this anti-Tinubu protest under the pretence of hardship protest online, after it has gained momentum on/offline, they left it to their useful idiots(In Israel’s Netanyahu word’s)in the SouthWest, North & SS to carry on self-destruct!

Line between literacy and illiteracy; also spells the line between protest and riot. A civilized, educated way of voicing out is protests, reporting to the police, suing etc. While the atavistic manner of doing the same is rioting, setting things/humans on fire, etc. The south protests while the north riots. Education is the key; (but our leaders have changed the padlock, lol)

Question 1

Differentiate between Protest and Revolution.

Protest is peaceful, Revolution is not.
