As the topic implies, what are some signs you know that someone is going to be wealthy in the future even though he or she is currently in a broke state?

From what I've seen, one big sign is their mindset about money. If they're always looking for ways to improve themselves or their situation, that drive tends to pay off big time down the road.

From what I've seen, a strong work ethic and relentless drive are big signs. People who are constantly learning and hustling tend to find their way up financially. Also, how they handle setbacks.

When he is broke but behaves like the rich. I don't mean live and spend money like the rich, I mean behave like them in of attitude and mindset. If he works smart and not hard, he will likely be rich. Most hard workers are low class. When he talks less and listens more, he may be rich tomorrow. If he is humble, chances are that he will be rich. One more important thing is of he is a careful fellow and a money respecter, you're looking at a tomorrow's middle class man at least. Respect is reciprocal, if you respect money, it will never disrespect you which is why you will never see a true rich man waste money or spray money at a public function like an idiot. My two cents.

I don't think there's a formula for that. I mean we're all told that all we needed to make it in life was a degree, now there are lot of degree holders who can't make ends meet or are employed by people with no degrees.

For me, life is about opportunity and maximising it. It doesn't matter if you're lazy,hard working or smart, we'll all get an opportunity, what separates us is how you make use of your opportunity.

You’re right as being wealthy requires some rules and strategies…..most people confuses being rich with having wealth as it’s rare for a wealthy man to go broke same way a rich man go back to how he was before he STUMBLED upon money

Hard workers - The hardest workers in the room. The kids who do chores they aren’t asked to do, run errands, do their assignments, stay up at night to read etc.

Success Mentality - People who succeed know they will succeed even before they do. When you have the mentality your actions will reflect it.

Self confidence - The believe in your abilities to succeed.

Continuous improvement - You are always looking for things to do. Learning a new skill, reading etc.

Positive attitude - The glass is half full kind of mentality. You don’t see doom and gloom in every situation. Even when you fail, it’s easy to pick yourself up again.

Ability to socialize - Networking is very important. A lot of people have gotten information, jobs, ideas, etc from connections. Companies pay their top executives big money to go play golf with clients. The more social/likeable you are, the higher you will go in career or business.

Money & Time management skills. This is self explanatory. You don’t waste money and time on frivolous things.

One thing I do know is there’s an age you get to, anything you do blossoms; but some are oblivious to this and make no effort at all when they’re at that age bracket (probably due to loss of faith precipitated by their past failings).
