When an Rh positive man impregnates an Rh negative woman, her body rexognises the Rh+ antigen as foreign and then produces antibodies to counter it. Let me digress a bit and explain what antigen and antibody mean.

What if the reverse is the case that is an Rh- negative man and a Rh+ positive woman?

Then nothing happens to the woman. Rh-negative man doesn't have Rhesus factor so the woman's body wont get sensitized.

And because the woman is Rh-positive, she wont have any Rhesus factor pregnancy complications

i think you got the abiku part very wrong. The second conception the foetus or the cell are attacked. It would never be born not to talk of dying.

Silence everywhere because it's not politics in the jungle. Rhesus factor is an important part of marriage,so we reduce the number of mortality in Nigeria since we haven't found our Anti-D either.

People need food now,not treatment for something
alternatively you can use rogam injection immediately after birth or abortion

says who. Why do you think we have a lot of witches and abiku then. Women that only gave birth to only one offspring and they have miscarriage after another and they will be labelled witches

Go for Rh compartibility test before taking her to the alter, this is aside other medical examinations such as HIV, gynotype, blood group.

Not necessarily. Some may never be born (miscarried) while some maybe stillborn. So when you check their RBCs, you would see lots of hemolysis reason for the name; "erythroblastosis fetalis". In all, it depends on the antibody titre in the mother.

Of course, while checking for ABO blood grouping it will be done. But it cannot stop a marriage from happening. The woman only needs to be aware that she would take RHOGAM after her first pregnancy.

It’s generalization baby

I don’t know how to explain it to you

That your grandad survived doesn’t mean everyone else from that time did. Many died from preventable conditions and many women were wrongly accused and punished for things they didn’t understand

cool

Once again knowledge has been itself as power.

Hardwork and knowledge is all it takes to solve problems not prayers, fasting and faith.

I hope that one day Nigerians will invest their time into Hardwork and knowledge instead of religion. Then we will start to see the prosperity we all yearn for.

RELIGION IS not a problem
There are people who do not play religion but they have empty brain

lol, soon getting someone suitable to marry would be very rare, I ain't done with genotype and the rest now I've got to worry about some rhesus factor too?
OyinO: 11:31pm On Jun 13, 2024
The Rh Factor is derived from the Rhesus monkey. I thought it's a racial stuff associated with Neanderthal genetic builds.

It Doesn’t really affect your choice of who to marry.
The woman’s and her offspring life will follow the same path (Sorta kinda).

Some women may not even take in again after the first child, that's the reason RH factor is very necessary.

Is there no solution to this?
