What's done is done. Ex-parte judgements are for judgements that haven't taken place. The horse has left the stable. Again, the lawmakers have done their part, the Gov has done his....the Court judgement will likely be ignored by the Governor, he will go to the Kano High Court and get an injunction to swear-in the new Emir. We have seen it all before...... 1 Like 1 Share |

The way politicians have degraded the traditional royal stool is bad, but the assented bill as become a law now and the judiciary is to obey the law so the case is dead on arrival. Also, the governor assented to the bill late in the afternoon yesterday around closing hour if I'm correct so when did he get this said order?

Lol all this banana republic judges that dish out ex parte orders in the night. Does the judiciary want to stop the legislative arm from doing it's work? It's now a new law even the judiciary and it's corrupt judges that's hawks ex parte orders must obey.

fergie001: It will affect the legitimacy of the emir, besides he will be easily sacked by a court soon. Sanusi should not have returned and the Emirates should not have been dissolved.he should have just been made one of the emirs to avoid wahala |

Akpakomiza2: If you don’t know the law, say you don’t know the law. Federal courts have no jurisdiction over traditional/customary matters. They are not recognized under Federal law. You can only preside over something that is under your purview. If you knew what you were talking about, I was expecting you to say the injunction was made based on violation of human rights which is a federal matter. But that was just skulduggery to obtain an injunction which will not hold water. 3 Likes |

No court has the power to stop state assembly enactment or national assembly enactment. The supreme Court has ruled on this several times. Court cannot stop the legislative arm of government from performing it's oversight functions 4 Likes 2 Shares |

StJasper:With due respect you lack wisdom sir. No court can void a law ed by the legislative arm of a state and signed into law by the state governor ![]() 2 Likes 1 Share |
