When people say the army is profiting from terrorism, these are the pointers. Where did a house wife get #35 Million to buy just jewelleries? How much is the husbands salary? Who knows the total jewellery she has and other properties the thieving husband must have acquired? The report was careful not to mention the name of the General involved, but was quick to rubbish the smaller thief. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Even her husband is not supposed to have that amount of money in his savings but the sad reality is that everywhere in Nigeria is corrupt. 35 million naira jewellery for a house wife of a millitary general? This country is sick!

Sahara Reporters one-sided story! It is convenient for you guy to put out the officer's name but the name of the General or that of the wife can not be mentioned! In all, what she did is bad and condemnable sha!

The authority should look into their welfare. As much as I do not them stealing but when the number of those falling into the temptation is becoming increasing, it's a signal that something is wrong with their take home.

There's not excuse for Room Lifting..but selling it at a ridiculous price is even annoying...I know of a General wife who brought property in the U.S before the General becomes a General and the property didn't necessarily appreciate much base on U.S currency but base on Nigeria currency, so investing in Jewelry is just another means to preserve value ...So don't let us assume Jewelry was from illicit funds.

Before I ask about the way and means by which she got that amount in jewelry; So being a General's wife now makes her to be entitled to a personnal security ...... is it constitutional or just the normal abuse of power and position as usual with those in Power ![]() |

Notice that they didn’t mention the General’s name or his wife’s name. I m sure if the General is from the southern part of the country, his name will be ringing bells by now. 1 Like |
