2. Nnamdi Kanu will remain in the DSS custody while he awaits trial,so that he does not organise a prison break and escape from custody. He is to be in DSS custody for the duration of his trial for terrorist activities.

The trial is taking so long because .....
1. Nnamdi Kanu was offered a bail for which prominent Ibo leaders stood as guarantors for him and promised to produce him in court for the trial.

2. Nnamdi Kanu was under strict conditions of bail not to discuss the case while his bail lasted.
3. Nnamdi Kanu returned to Abia state and started talking about the case loquaciously. He engaged the Nigeria army in a war of words while encouraging activities of IPOB and Unknown gun men surreptitiously.
4. The Army was engaged by IPOB youths leading to a fracas at Kanu's home.
5. Kanu capitalised on this fracas to jump bail and escape from the country to the UK,from where he began to use Radio Biafra to cast aspersions on the country and the government.

6. Kanu travelled to Kenya for reasons best known to him where he was arrested by the Kenyan authorities and repatriated to Nigeria.
7. The Nigeria government now continued the trial but Nnamdi Kanu and his lawyers continued to delay the trial by employing all kinds of legal shenanigans to question and delay the trial.
8. The court has now ruled that Kanu must face trial.......

So as you can see the trial delay has been caused by Kanu and his lawyers who have been collecting money from his wife and deceiving Kanu and his wife....

They have large heart and think prosperity and peace always.
