We came out in the morning to meet it hanging dead . My dad cried.. after that day we unleashed all the dogs and never tamed them again.

That dog tried to jump from the balcony forgetting that her chain was on her neck and it strangled her to death.

This has happened to our dog before but she was saved because we were around.

As a retired crime scene investigator with over 30 years of experience, the plausible explanation for what happened here is: (a) the dog was chained to the metal guard rail (b) it tried jumping over but was caught on the neck, by the chain leash around its neck (c) no one was around to help unleash the poor dog, (d) until it suffocated due to asphyxiation.
CAUSE OF DEATH: Asphyxiation due to accidental hanging.
