It was a striking experience looking at the eclipse through certified eclipse eyeglasses. You could see the moon moving to cover the sun. My co-workers and I downed tools yesterday and went to a bridge where we could see the most of Hamilton. O! The beauty when there was complete darkness.

Stay with biblically. Don't mention Qur'an. In Islam, we have knowledge and answers for everything, including Eclipse. The eclipse is a natural phenomenon; and just like everything in nature, is a sign from the signs of God.

Lemme explain real quick what we(muslims) believe about eclipses.

it' nothing but one of the many signs of the precision and perfection of Allah. How else would you explain how the sun, millions of kilometers away, the largest object in our solar system completely BLOCKED by a moon, tinier than the earth with accurate precision?

The Prophet(PBUH) lost hisyoungest son, Ibrahim, same night a solar eclipse occured. The companions began to say that the eclipse was a sign of prophethood and Allah mad the moon cover the sun just for his sake. He replied: The sun and the moon are non but signs of Allah, they have no bearings on anyone's personal feelings, said a prayer then went on mourning his sun. A false prophet would have seized the opportunity to claim the eclipse occured as a result of his loss.

Anyways, no end times serenren. it's just another sign of the Prefection of our Creator and a reminder for whoever will be reminded.
