Is that not Obi Cubana in the second to the last picture? And some poor minded people are busying fighting themselves over tribe while the rich ones refuse to have tribe. |

Hahaha.....Very familiar if you are Yoruba and at family events where your elder relatives are in attendance. You are taught this right from childhood and done so frequently that it comes naturally. You must serve each elder his or her own idobale individually o, nothing like give one idobale for more than one elder. If you are accompanied by your wife and children , it is even more dramatic because you will all be dragging space to greet and receive blessings from the elders at the same time. This is one of the coded ways the culture and blessings are transferred from the older generations of the Yoruba family to the younger ones ![]() One good thing about this is that in a couple of years, you will be the one receiving the idobale and transferring the blessings you recieved from today's elders to those behind you so they can it on to the generations after you are long gone. 12 Likes 1 Share |

I'm a proud graduate of Applied Mathematics from the prestigious Osun State University, Osogbo Campus... The 4 years I spent in Osun was filled with some of the most memorable experiences of my life, in Osun state you will enjoy Yorubas rich culture and traditions at it finest not to talk of the beautiful ladies too 😉... Normally, Osun people are welcoming and well respectful... The only set of people that makes people feel Yorubas are not welcoming are Tinubu and his boys in Lagos... 3 Likes |

Elders from the other side would have postrated for David if it were the other side. I one registration exercise I participated in in the East. Elders on queue for hours ushered "young millionaires" to front without having to queue. I was stunned. 2 Likes |
