They shouldn't take those states backwards. Their predecessors did awesome infrastructural jobs!

IYANA IBA INTERCHANGE & FLYOVER BRIDGE

You are either ignorant or you chose to deceive people with your post. This road was started over 13 years ago by ECOWAS linking West African countries.

It was started under Fashola and is still ongoing.

Yes Lagos state government has handled bigger projects above this in the past and are still doing but this project is an ECOWAS Project.

Lagos is in its own class with the lots of things it's embarked on, compared to other states, thanks to Lagos government. No wonder statinse has been recently omitting Lagos from the several manipulated statinse list. Lol. Because if Lagos was added, their manipulation intention wouldn't manifest. Lol. And that's why I don't take the statinse serious.

That being said, other state governments need to improve like Lagos government have been doing

While you want those states to progress, have you asked the federal government influence on the development of those states. Akwa ibom for example needed a seaport to import, tho the project was approved, who has enquired if the project was funded or the stage of the project. Not even a newspaper or journalist have given us the real picture of the stage of the project and no one can project if this is what is lacking in the development of the said state. Lagos igr can't be compared to these other states for obvious reasons and the responsibilities of such capital projects cannot be hinge on the shoulder of state government alone

which sanwo olu? This project as been on ground since the time Jonathan.

The project, like the other two on that axis, was initiated by FASHOLA but because of the slow pace of federal government on the construction of LAGOS-BADAGRY highway, he slowed down on the development hence by the time he left, the project was in its infancy. Ambode government turned blind eye (perhaps because of the state of the highwayοΌ‰ but SANWO OLU government took it(and the other twoοΌ‰up despite, and is on the verge of completing all of them. If not for the slow development on the highway, the bridges should've been another cash-cows for LASG as they're intended to be tolled.
They're all planned to be easy connections from the usual to the societies on the axis on which all of them are constructed.

Taaaa.

What has it got to do with the governors of Akwa Ibom and Rivers states? Go to those states and see developments going on.

Get to the Iyana Iba area and have a very clear physical view. What you know nothing about, leave it.

Government has plenty of cleaning up to do there. Hopefully with the construction of the Iyana Iba modern market, a bus terminal will be added to it to sanitize the entire area spanning from Volkswagen to the front of LASU and beyond.

By the way, Sanwo Olu is just finishing the project started by istrations before him.

Sanwo-Olu and Soludo just dey perform dey go...!

Other governors are moping or dancing around (Osun).

The one in Kaduna is exchanging words with his predecessor's son over debts.

Nigerians, use the social media and call out your governors... Wake them out of their corrupt and greedy stupor.

Especially those of you safely tucked away abroad.

Everytime shouldn't be for abusing President Tinubu...! What are your governors doing in your states?!!

The funniest thing is that it's still under construction. Till they finish the blue line second phase then we'll calculate how many years it took to construct the road.
The road has been completed only remain landscaping but the problem is the roadside traders and Okada riders

May be a rail track but for now the middle of the road is the longest open public toilet in Africa, all the Abokis and the locals has adopted the middle of that road as toilet, you cant there at any time without seeing them defecating openly
, you know the Abokis doesn't rent house, so whenever they want to poopoo, they just Park their okada and spread yansh while commuter looks on, imagine smelling human poopoo in this hot weather while stuck in traffic, lagosians dey try abeg, kudos.
I give them credit for that

Beautiful

So all the billions should be spent on infrastructure only. What about health, education, Environment e.t.c

Maybe if other state government across Nigeria had ensured their own states were liveable, Lagos would have less demand on infrastructure wear and tear.

If Lagos has less demand on infrastructure, then how will it get the people to generate more revenue it brags about
