Morocco vs South Africa: AFCON Morocco were unbeaten on their way to topping Group F Morocco will be eyeing a deep run at the Africa Cup of Nations as they prepare to face South Africa in the last-16. The Atlas Lions went into the tournament as one of the favourites, after their superb run to finish fourth at the World Cup in 2022, and they had little issues in finishing top of their AFCON group to reach the knockout stages. It is now 48 years though since the won and only time they won this tournament, and they have not made the final since 2004. Beat South Africa here, and Morocco will face either Cape Verde or Mauritania in the quarter-finals. After Senegal game of yesterday, na to dey lock up watch games with fingers crossed. More surprises looming in this unusual and interesting tournament. I love it!!! Best Afcon I have watched in a long time... No boring games. Fluid and impressive display from all teams. Cote'divoire fought hard and hungrily last night, and they prevailed against the biggest contender.
