You have tried but we would have preferred DPK and PMS for the common Nigerians first

You're right.

However, aviation fuel and diesel are the first products of the distillation process. DPK and PMS will require further cracking.

One thing at a time.

There's a reason they're avoiding mentioning petrol since. Looks like they haven't agreed on prices with the government and they want to keep that aspect sealed until they do.

Wait o. The plant refines 650,000 barrels per day and it just recieved 6 millions barrels from NNPC. This is a 10 day stock after which the 6 million barrels would have been exhausted. There is no mention of continuous supply of crude for continuous refining beyond the 6 million delivered. Will crude oil refining then stop after 10 days like the Port Harcour Refinery debacle?

Can you comfortably buy 50 litres of fuel at the current price if they sell both you and your phone you used in typing this?

The trucks, popularly called trailers, carrying goods across the country use diesel. Even the trains are diesel powered, not to talk of some generators.

Exactly my point. I myself have never driven or own a tanker/trailer, I have never had cause to enter a train to anywhere before neither have I bought, own or run a diesel powered generator.

So I ask again, how would it benefit the common man on the streets? undecided

Wakanda question is this? Most haulage vehicles use diesel and haulage cost is a critical component in determining final prices of goods and agricultural products. So it greatly concerns the common man o.
BTW I'm sure petrol will follow shortly.

Why are all of them avoiding PMS?

Even the greenfield refinery in Imo State also said they are starting with Diesel (AGO)
.

They have to start with diesel and jet fuel, it's how distillation goes

Instead of saying we will start refining, he said we will have diesel in market just to avoid exposing the hypocrisy of a party that commissioned unfinished project.
He dodged a political bullet. Lol
