It's not a double standard whatever. In LASU's case, further investigations should be done and the suspects in charge of the reported crimes should be arrested and prosecuted. Do you expect the Nigerian government to enter into Benin Republic and start arresting/prosecuting the suspects?

Moreover some universities within Nigeria were also affected.

In this regard, I propose Nigeria mandate no higher qualification obtained in any West Africa, and select Africa Nations, is acceptable in Nigeria. This should simplify things and if they retaliate then so be it.
