He has always had Adekunle in his name even though not common. The article below last updated in March 2023. We all knew this from 1999 when he was governor of Lagos state.

You are welcome. When I was young and resident in Lagos when he was governor in his first time. I always wondered what the A in BAT meant. I often wondered if it was Adekunle or Ahmed. Now I no it's Ahmed and Adekunle was more of a 2nd middle name which he doesn't often use.
