You can't do MRES with an HND. Even for direct masters, only a few schools accept HND. The minimum requirement for MRES is BSC 2:2 and that's even for some schools. Most schools want 2:1.

Please did you declare your visa refusals when applying to the school for ission?

I’m at that crossroad at the moment, I had a uk visit visa refusal earlier this year due to lack of strong ties to Nigeria and I also made an error when putting my monthly salary in the application. I accidentally added an extra zero while my statement showed the correct income.

Can someone advise if declaring this during ission application stage can affect one’s chances of getting an offer.

Student jobs are low-paying and primarily cover food expenses and, at best, part of your rent. They were never intended to fund tuition fees unless you have a dependent who can work full-time which is no longer an option.

While the cost of living in Dundee is cheap, job opportunities are not much. You may need to commute to Edinburgh or Glasgow to find suitable work

I got an ission to UK school through PGCE as a physics teacher and It has been confirmed that I am eligible to 29,000 pounds bursary which will be paid for 10 months installment by the UK government (2900 per month). Now the school that offered me a place based on the bursary reduced my initial deposit from 50% to 25% which is 4000 pounds, approximately 8m naira. With due respect, you're wrong. If you remain a dependant for 5 years, you can apply for ILR. But ensure you don't change your Status from being a dependant for that 5 years.

But there is an automatic 1500pounds tuition discount for 2:2 and 3500pounds tuition discount for 2:1.

I’m in a tough situation and would really appreciate your thoughts.

I’m 25 years old, and ever since I got an unconditional ission offer my father has been determined to sell his only house to fund my travel to the UK. Despite my repeated attempts to convince him otherwise, he insists that this is the best way to secure my future. While I deeply appreciate his sacrifice and belief in me, I can’t help but worry about the risks.

Here's a quick break down..

In your proof of funds you are expected to have the balance of your tuition fee + living expenses.

Let's say your school fee is £15,000 and initial deposit is £5000.

Also, let say living expenses is £900 per month.

So it means in your proof of funds, UKVI and the school expects you to have £10,000 (tution balance) + £8,100 (living expenses for 9month)

So what you are expected to have in your for 30days is a total of £18,100 in Naira equivalent
