Dependant spouse will qualify for ILR the same time as the main skilled worker.

Can you imagine rewarding the person most likely contributing the least work and taxes into the system first?

With due respect, you're wrong. If you remain a dependant for 5 years, you can apply for ILR. But ensure you don't change your Status from being a dependant for that 5 years.

You can't do MRES with an HND. Even for direct masters, only a few schools accept HND. The minimum requirement for MRES is BSC 2:2 and that's even for some schools. Most schools want 2:1.

Offer has been made already and about paying deposit but someone told my friend that her dependent would be deny visa. The so called person said he knows two people whose dependents were denied for MRes course.

Please my people how true is this?

Please who knows about Swansea and the cost of living over there. Availability of jobs for students and dependants and cost of 2 bedroom apartments there. I don't really see much about that Wales side and I applied for MSc by research at Swansea University.

I noticed a mistake on my Transcript, the transcript was printed on the day I picked it up, I was in the school, waited almost all day before it was finalized and handed over to me.

Unfortunately I didn't bother to check it. My biometric is scheduled for Monday and while ing my documents, I noticed that the date on my transcript is reading 27th January 2024 instead of 27th January, 2025 that it was printed.

I graduated in August, 2024

I needed serious advice on what to do please.

You can’t go with your dependents on mres (taught). It must be masters by research or mphil. Write to the the school to confirm. Some agents have dealt with a lot of people on this mres with dependent wahala

I wouldn’t know. Maybe you want to use your phone to search for MSc courses you can do with “Bsc Chemistry” for example

Let her do something related to her work experience. For example, if she has worked as a financial analyst, she can go for a business related course or data analytics and the likes.

You don't have to be sorry for the post, this is one of the objectives of this platform.

You are 25 years of age and I think age is still one your side wrt opportunities.

If you are not the only child and you have siblings it's a bit complicated...... Cos you will be facing multiple pressure. Otherwise, if you are the only one, you can gamble with your inheritance as nobody except your parents will ask questions.

Considering life in the UK as student on a tier 4 visa with just 25 hr per week job. Getting the money back after study and post study work visa is not possible. Maybe if you are lucky to get sponsorship at the end and you work for long years, then you can get the investment back. Please note, UK is not stable with policy at the moment.

This UK where we all dey, e farrr. In summary, I will not do it especially if I am not the only child. This is my own opinion/advice. The final decision dey your hand. Good luck.
