I don't think so because they intentionally stated it affects NEW students starting in January.
Moreso, the new policy to be effected this April about care workers not bringing dependents has been clarified by the home office that it only will affects care workers who get sponsorship after implementation of the policy in April.

Coming to the UK is no longer attractive. It's better one channel such energy to Canada, any European country like , , etc or Australia /Austria.

First this schools in UK have almost all increased their school fees 100%. Only few are left.

Secondly the exchange rate is on the high side


Thirdly, the Nigerian government are no longer funding form A which makes it cheaper for student.

Thirdly, most schools here are increasingly mounting pressure on foreign students to meet up with their payment as soon as possible.

Fourth, the job market are beginning to get saturated.. Unlike before. It takes over 3 to 4 months to land a job.

The biggest blow is the inability to come with your spouse.. Meaning you got to work and cough those thousands of pounds alone..plus increasing house rent.


So the best way to go is looking for more friendly countries that will guarantee you stay after school not the one that changes policies like rice and beans
As it is now, one can wake up with news that there is More post graduate extension

Northumbria University is not friendly to Nigerians again. From stories coming from there I will say Nigerians should avoid the school. Unless you have your full fees or can pay up within 4 months

Northumbria University is not friendly to Nigerians. Their new policy now is fir you to pay upfront. What I mean once you step into the school, you are forced to pay up all remaining fees between 3 months .. That's almost 6 months to graduation
