How far how? I can cook white rice but I'm afraid I won't be able to assist with pounded yam and egusi grin

You should try asking around in your community or the restaurant for women you can pay to batch cook stews and soups weekly, and then you just defrost as and when - much cheaper than eating out.

I hope you're not one of those Nigerian men who can only eat freshly cooked food? šŸ˜‚
thank you.
I think I have to do that, look for who to batch cook and pay. I just converted all I've spent on food to naira and I'm angry. I am used to fresh foods but I have no choice now.

He probably did. The guy has to go through all the stages and get to 20 years, which is about June next year. One last appeal stage left.

They are deliberately getting rid of him based on his shenanigans with Spac nation and charity commission. There are worst immigration cases than this that already have their British citizenship.
He is divorced and I'm sure the wife is sticking a dagger in.

The guy chop life for this country sha. He could be lucky and become a governor in naija.

He is not divorced. The wife- Mary is mentioned in the court documents as well because he claims she is the sponsor of his lavish lifestyle from her 100k a year salary.

He knows what he should do, but he doesn't want to play right......I expected Olawanle to have advised him on the best way forward....... But no, lawyer must chop...... šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚
He has definitely done it. If you check his Instagram, you'll see how he suddenly presented himself as a beloved community leader and a unique unifier among black communities. It all seems like a big smokescreen; everything has been carefully orchestrated over the past year. He’s the sole sponsor of these dubious nation-building and community events, even leading marches to Downing Street in of the girl child—it's all part of the performance. And let’s not overlook how he’s managed to align himself with some of the biggest acts in Africa, which only adds to his facade of community leadership. The image he and Olawanle have built is impressive if you look through his IG page.
He also removed the pastor and church titles from his name and changed his profile to
ā€˜Nation building’ ā€˜Community building’
It is the act!

Is that his partner or wife? The court mentions relationship and partner but not wife. They might be unmarried partners living together. Doesn't matter however from a legal perspective.

Does he have kids? No mention of them in his court submissions.

Now that you mention it, it does cause curiosity as to why he hasn’t highlighted the British citizenship of those kids to secure a stay. He often flaunts two young children - a boy and a girl…. as his who bear a resemblance to the woman—though perhaps it's just my perception. I'm now curious about why they aren’t leveraging that angle but tbh everything feels more like smoke and mirrors with him.
Too much embellishment.. Everything has been meticulously orchestrated as the Community leader role is the one they are using to hopefully secure him a stay.

That's not true. The court has applied the immigration laws very fairly in his case and has actually been quite accommodating, even adjourning the case to a later date to allow him submit further evidence.

If the court wanted, they could have delved into his questionable source of income. Without the legal right to work or own a business, and his claims that he hasn't taken a penny from Spac Nation and that Mary pays for all his personal expenses, clothes etc (which are obviously extremely extravagant), it doesn't take an FBI agent to see that it doesn't quite add up🤨

The immigration rules are designed to make it almost impossible for an overstayer to regularise their status within the UK based on a British partner. If he had applied from Nigeria years ago, he would probably be a British citizen now. So they are not deliberating getting rid of him, he's the victim of his own choices.

It's very curious indeed.

If he does have British kids, there would be no need for court appeals, he would have been granted leave to remain a long time ago. There's no way his lawyer would have advised him to fight a discretionary human rights claim in court when applying based on the kids would have been far simpler.

I agree, lots of smoke and mirrors. It's giving Nollywood movie lol

Perhaps those kids aren’t his. The lack of mention about either child makes it clear they might not belong to him. There’s no sentiment in the court documents about how the kids—or even just one—would miss having their father in their lives. Instead, there’s a focus on a fabricated narrative about the black community and the crimes he supposedly prevented would increase if he were asked to leave the UK. Even in the response, it was suggested that he and Mary could start a life elsewhere, dismissing her Ā£100k salary as a minor detachment from life in the UK. Not a word about the ā€˜ possible British citizen’ kids.
So either those kids aren’t citizens, or they’re not his. His lawyer wouldn’t be foolish enough to overlook that angle, especially when that’s one of the ā€˜easiest’ loopholes.

It's not even a loophole. It's part of the immigration rules based on the best interests of the British or settled child. The judge would not be deliberating whether the kids would miss him, it would be an open and shut case. In fact the Home Office would have caved before it went to court.

Even if the kids were Mary's and not his, he would still have been granted leave because of his relationship with their mother. So it would appear that the kids are neither his or Mary's., maybe he's their godfather? 🤷

So you think they are not unfair to him knowing full well that he has a right to family life? Plus he is a father of a british citizen. They would have just put him on a 10 year based on that alone.

Sebi he even came in with visitor visa, I know people that were smuggled here who filed and were put on a 10 year route.

I meant 'loophole' in the sense that this is the trajectory most undocumented individuals follow—not that it’s against the rules. Like it’s the next best thing to ever happen.

His wife's name is Lucy Odetola.

He doesn't appear to have mentioned his child in his application so no, they weren't unfair to him based on the facts he provided.

He also claimed to be in a relationship with Mary not Lucy.

It's a 10 year route to settlement, renewing every 2.5 years with IHS and visa fees so it's a long and expensive route, but I agree it's better than the alternative for many.

Lol, godfather - I couldn't think of anything else šŸ˜‚
