Independent Foreign Observers Mission in Nigeria has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on the conduct of the February 25 presidential and federal parliamentary polls.

The mission, which gave the commendation in its preliminary report on Tuesday’s just-concluded election in Abuja, described the poll as peaceful and transparent.

David Furnad of the United States read the report.

“The presidential elections in Nigeria recorded a high turnout of voters nationwide. It can also be regarded as one of the most transparent elections in the country’s history, with the significant candidates recording victories and defeats,” stated Mr Furnad. “The presidential election witnessed a comparatively large turnout of voters in the various geopolitical zones compared to other general elections in the country.”

He added, “The South-West and the South-East zones witnessed the highest number of voter turnout, with eligible voters demonstrating an uncommon level of patience to exercise their franchise.”

Mr Furnad noted that INEC deployed sensitive and non-sensitive materials to voting points on time, even though the report recorded some delays in some areas, which it said did not deter voters from performing their civic duties.

He stressed, “There were minimal incidences of vote buying across the country. The reason adduced is that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) randomly visited polling units unannounced to arrest anyone involved in such acts. The country’s recent redesign of currency reduced vote buying to the barest minimum.”

The mission praised some political parties and their candidates for honouring the Peace Accord and not inciting their ers.

Present at the presentation of the report were Rudolf Elmendorp, Stuart Young, Stuart Dyer, Francois DeRobaix and Jeffrey Fry.

Foreign observers indeed! Tinubu is free to arrange any homeless white people roaming aimlessly on the streets, lodge them in a posh hotel and give them enough dollars for them to later claim to be foreign election observers. All these charades won't stop Obi from reclaiming his stolen mandate. God can never be mocked.

If atiku and obi continue to mourn their loss it would do them no good ..

Cos the international community might see them as the enemy of the nation. .

So let us all hands together to salvage this country for the betterment of all..

The result speaks for itself. Only crazy and pained losers are trying to discredit the election. It’s the most credible election in the history of the country.

We can't accept a leader who doesn't have regards for our educational sector and to the yearning of the youths.

You can call us losers but l assure you nobody will cherish the experience of the last 8 years except the devil.

Did they witness the violence and destruction of election materials in Lagos?24hrs after the end of voting,INEC officials have not arrive the collation centre in Lagos.Where did they go? Falsifying results to give tinubu high votes to meet the 25% requirements.
Transparent-Inec chairman shutdown it portal to prevent the results from being ed into it portal in other to give room for forging of results.

Bros, there is nothing to salvage in nigeria, the first step to salvage a thing is truth, if you see the problem and refuse to be in denial and sort it you will be on that way of salvation but as long as people are ing evil and fraud and call others to accept it, you are directly calling people fools and no one likes being taken for a fool, not you and not for others, anyone who claims that there was no massive cheating in this election is a liar
