I have multiple companies I dream of working for, not all are tech companies though.

3* Maersk ( shipping company )

As a designer I'd choose meta cause they have diverse world class products (Fb, WhatsApp, Instagram etc.).
On a second note I believe there are other companies besides FAANG one could still enjoy working with.
It is really tough getting into FAANG compaines

It's not hype sha. The number of folks Hedge funds employ is few compared to FAANG. Like way more. For Hedge funds, degrees and excellent grades matter 100%. Unlike FAANG where you can get into even without a degree.

Not really o. I was talking to a dev in a discord group. He works at citadel and dropped out of high school. He was talking about an internship opportunity that was open for African students and asked if I applied. Maybe at entry level but when you have experience I don't think they care they also do dsa style interviews

Yeah. At entry level, they take your background very seriously from a technical stand point. But guy, Hedge fund na blood money ; ...they pay crazy
