If it's not his family or stooge, no viable contract or project is handled to anyone else. Abakaliki is so dirty that you wonder what the Waste Management tax he imposed on every building/compound is being used for.
Fire Service Tax is being collected yet the Eke Market in Afikpo has burnt down recently.

In as much that I don’t like his decision making but atleast it is better to be flogged than to be sacked. Some governor will sacked civill servant or give them months suspension just because they came late while the governor was on inspection to their place of work.
Sacking people or suspending civil servants withot pay kills faster than flogging.
On the other hand most civil servant are negligent work. They always came late and when they finally arrived , they shows a nonchalant attitude at work.
I had an experience at federal secretariat in Ibadan, I got there around 10am and 90% of the offices were still close and u was wandering whether those offices will be open. I went out and came back around 12 and most of those offices had been open. How can people be coming to work after 11am
