I did my capturing in December last year but I have been going to the immigration service office but they keep telling me it has not been brought to their office, that it's still at ikoyi.

It's 3 months now and still no positive response.

Please has anyone experienced this and how did you go about resolving it?

My port biometrics appointment date in Alimosho is on a public holiday. I tried to reschedule it online but i get a message that reschedule is not possible at my center. Anyone experienced this? Any advice on how to proceed pls?

My port would expire in 2 months time and I am trying to renew it online, after battling with port for some hours and finally done with that, below are the next huddle in front of me:

1. Birth Certificate issued by the National Population Commission or Declaration of age by Federal/State High Court or Customary Court of Appeal *

2. Local Government Certificate of Indigeneship *

Is port renewal supposed to go through all these?



NB: I have renewed the port twice and this is the 3rd time of renewal

They are confused o… Na so they even demand make I bring original copies for sighting even after ing soft copies wondering how educated people insist on baseless protocols… if they never tear all these documents finish they no go rest

1. If you have Birth certificate, then there's no need for Declaration of Age.
2. If you don't have Birth Certificate, go to any court nearest to your location to do "Declaration of Age"

If Validity is more than Six (6) Months, Applicant should state reason(s).

You only need an affidavit of birth if you were born before 1992. Nigerian port applicants who were born in 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, etc, must present a certificate of birth from the NPC.
Age declaration and affidavit are same.

I applied to renew my port online on Friday 31st of May and I was given appointment for today 4th of June. I didn't understand what the appointment was for but I went with all my documents only to get to Immigration office in Festac and I was told to capture. I was shocked like this fast and without anyone asking for tips. I am really impressed. However, I hope they print the port quickly.

Has this been resolved? If not, keep trying but I'll advice you check from those guys that s NIN cos I had similar issue but it has been resolved.

It's been resolved . Did it on Sunday , capturing on the 1st of July
